MTA Office Managers & Human Resources Peer Group
                    2011 Fall Conference

November 3-4, 2011
Best Western Kelly Inn
St. Cloud, MN

You’re invited to attend the Fall Conference of the MTA Office Managers & Human Resource
Peer Groups, scheduled for November 3 and 4, 2011 at the Best Western Kelly Inn at St. Cloud,
Minnesota. As we have learned, Office Managers and Human Resource Managers have a lot of
common work functions and responsibilities and we have this joint conference planned to take
advantage of the knowledge and resources each peer group has to offer.

Thursday morning we’ll get an MTA update from MTA President & CEO Brent Christensen, hear
industry and HR updates from Olsen Thielen staff members Tom Campbell and Larry Kugler, be
enlightened by a telework panel consisting of Kristi Hastings, Randy Johnson, and a telework
employee, and learn about a respectful workplace from Kate Harri.

Breakfast will be served Friday morning as we prepare for Tony Mayer’s GM Perspective, a
lesson on workers’ compensation and roundtable discussions on topics of interest to attendees.
The conference will wrap up by noon so everyone can head home for the weekend.

Click here to see the meeting agenda, hotel information and download the conference
registration form. The deadline for the meeting registration is October 18. Please note that our
block of rooms at the Kelly Inn will be held until October 17.

We are looking forward to a good turnout and hope you will join us in St. Cloud at the Best
Western Kelly Inn for an enjoyable conference. If you have any questions, feel free to contact
any planning committee member listed with the meeting information.
