Week Dates Theme Description
Week 1 June 20-June 24 Party Palooza Celebrate everyday this week as we kick off an exciting season of
summer camp. Learn, laugh and make friends playing traditional and
new party games this week including everything from limbo to balloon
relays. Express your creative side by decorating your own cupcake or
working cooperatively to build a piñata.
Week 2 June 27-July 1 Wet N' Wild Splash and explore this week while learning about the wonders of water
and the creatures of the sea. Slide like a penguin on our Slip and Slide
or build a Noodle raft strong enough to float your counselor. Design and
create your own water wheel, gummy fish in a bowl and bottled waves!
Week 3 July 5-July 8 Artrageous Let your creative side soar this week and think "outside the box" with
fun and outrageous art projects. This week is all about exploring new art
mediums, everything from painting with marbles to carving soap to
creating chalk self portraits on the sidewalk to tie dying T-shirts.
Week 4 July 11-July 15 Weird Science Challenge yourself this week to explore and discover the weird wonders
of science. Get ready to get messy as you create your very own slime,
drop an egg, or make ice cream to share! Work with your science team
to problem solve how to make water walk a rope or build an erupting
volcano.
Week 5 July 18-July 22 Amazing Race Embrace the fast pace of traveling around the world in just one week.
Work cooperatively with your team to travel from country to country
and participate in team challenges like Capture the Flag or build your
own team boat. Learn about new cultures, be responsible for budgeting
your team's money, and appreciate diversity in our world.
Week 6 July 25-July 29 Dash N' Splash Ready, Set, Go!!! Stay cool this week while playing all sorts of
refreshing water games like water balloon toss, bucket brigade, and
sponge tag. Crafts include everything from building a regatta, to making
ice pops, to splatter painting.
Week 7 August 1-August 5 Incredible Camp this week is all about fantastic and fun food! Work as a team to
Edible build the tallest marshmallow tower. Create your own jelly bean self
portrait. Design your own "Jell-O" fish tank and make your own
individual sized pizza with your favorite toppings!
Week 8 August 8-August 12 Carnival Crazy Step right up and enjoy this fun and crazy carnival themed week. Play
classic and new carnival games like ring toss, balloon pop, Frisbee
throw, and parachute games too! Laugh and learn with your carnival
friends while face painting, having a three legged race, sharing popcorn,
and creating your own musical instruments to participate in the carnival
band!
Week 9 August 15-August 19 Games Galore Games, games and more games are played all around, from our
playground to the fields, to the pool to the tent. Discover, laugh and
grow learning traditional and new games from marbles and charades to
Bingo and cards. Get active and connect with friends playing team
building games such as kickball and Four Squares. Be creative by
designing your own new game and build a giant camp puzzle!
Week 10 August 22-August 26 Got Talent Express yourself, shine and show your star talent as we bring the camp
season to a close with our Y Talent Show. Create, plan and design the
final day of camp's talent show. From start to finish you have a role to
play, everything from talent show posters to props and playbills.
Participate in your own unique way, whether your talent is dancing or
drawing to singing or sporting, this is your week to shine! Friends and
family invited to join us on the last day of camp for our Y Talent Show
celebration!
