Cleveland Museum of Natural History
March 29, 2007
Hi Tracie:
Thank you for sending me the information on your proposed exhibit on the art work of Larry Felder
entitled, “Bringing Dinosaurs to Life”. As the Head of Vertebrate Paleontology and a member of the
Exhibits Selection Committee for the Cleveland Museum of Natural History I would strongly
recommend to my museum that we host this exhibit.
Larry Felder is an exceptional paleo-artist who works closely with scientists to ensure the highest
accuracy in his reconstructions of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. His succeeds in
emotionally engaging the viewer with the scenes depicted in his paintings and breathing life into
worlds that we can only otherwise know from fossils.
Triebold Paleontology, Inc. has an excellent reputation for producing the highest quality material for
display in world class museums, and I have no doubt that their new exhibit will meet or exceed their
already high standards. Please do not hesitate to ask if you need any help or technical advice as you
move forward with this.
I look forward to receiving more information about this exhibit as it progresses.
All the very best,
Michael Ryan
