Students at Joliet Junior College who are preparing to transfer to the University of St. Francis as a nursing major may
complete lower-division required courses at Joliet Junior College prior to transferring to USF. To complete the BSN,
students must complete two years (minimum of 64 s.h.) of lower division liberal arts and science courses as
prerequisites to the upper-division professional nursing courses. The following lists the lower division courses for
the USF Nursing program and the equivalent courses at JJC. JJC students completing the associate degree at JJC
should consult the JJC catalog and meet with an academic advisor at JJC.
