Hair is a reflection on the overall condition of your body. A healthy strand of hair should stretch

by about 30% before it breaks. Hair is dead protein once it has appear from your scalp. A

healthy and well-nourished body reflects in bouncy and healthy hair. Herbs can help all types of

hair stay healthy and attractive. There are lots of natural herbs for hair available or in fact being

used since hundreds of years by the different countries all over the world.

Healthy strands boast tightly closed cuticle layers. If hair is in good condition, it shines, swings,

feels good when touched, and has no "cotton-candy" ends or split strands. The easiest route to

healthy hair is to avoid as many of the following damaging things as possible.

In order to avoid split ends, frequent trims are very important, and this is another important

advice to keep a healthy hair tip. It is common advice where every six to eight weeks at least a

half inch should be taken off the ends of the hair, as this hair will generally be dead anyway and

is simply pulling down the rest of the hair making it look lifeless.

Scalp massage helps maintain a healthy blood circulation so the hair follicles get what they

need. Be aware though that regular scalp massage can increase the amount of sebum

produced in the hair follicle. Sebum is the natural oil produced by the body to protect the hair. If

your hair is very oily you may need to decrease the number of times you do a scalp massage.

In truth this is pure hogwash. Were this the case most stylists would be out of a job. Coloring is

safe as long as you follow the instructions to the letter. It also helps to use gentle coloring

products. It helps more if afterwards you use shampoos and conditioners specifically designed

for colored hair. In fact it’s smart to use extra conditioner each time you wash your colored hair.

Massage the scalp with warm almond or olive oil. Take half cup of clean water and two egg

yolks, beat egg yolks in a cup of water. Use it as a massage on the scalp and hair for 5-10

minutes. Leave it for a few minutes and rinse hair with Luke warm water. After this again rinse

with a paste of water and apple cider vinegar. If your hair is very dry, infusions of elderflower,

parsley or sage is a great home remedy for dry, frizzy hair and it will calm the frizz and restore

moisture.

Shampoo works by removing dirt and excess sebum from the hair's surface. Gentle shampoos

remove just what they need to. Harsh shampoos, however, can take with them your hair's

protective sebum, that necessary natural oil that keeps hair pliable, moisturized, and healthy. In

some cases, harsh shampoos also disrupt your hair's cuticle layer, roughing up those tile-like

portions and allowing damage to the interior cortex.

The hair is the crowning glory and the skin is the biggest organ in the body that shows how

healthy you are. Similar to the other parts of the body, the hair and the skin also needs

nourishment and proper care to be healthy. The skin is not only the largest organ in the body

but it is also your first line of defence against disease and micro organisms like bacteria and

fungi. When this is not healthy, it can easily get infected and will exhibit undesirable skin

conditions like rashes, blisters and the like.
