Alright, so you’re a Farmville fan and you’re serious about getting better at the game. That’s
awesome, and I think you’re about to find that this is the absolute best place you can possibly
start. After all, Farmville is not as simple as it seems. Sure, everyone says it can be played by a
child, but when you hit the elite status that the big girls and boys are playing at, you’re going to be
left with a whole heck of a lot of ways to get better….if you have the right tools.
So, before you start trying cheats that no one should attempt, let’s take a closer look at a few of my
top tips - the ones that will help you play this game better.

Tips Number 1 - Super Gifting
This is a tricky one and, at any point in time, it might become unavailable as changes are made to
the way the game works. Zynga is pretty slick when it comes to catching cheats and getting rid of
them. But, for now, it’s still working well.
To do this, you’ll need to get some friends or family members to help you out as you work to
send multiple gifts from the same Facebook account. Start out by using Firefox instead of
Internet Explorer - the browsers read the code of the game a bit different, so it will affect how
you play.
Now, login to Facebook and open your Farmville account, then click on the “Free Gifts” button.
Instead of actually sending anything, right click on the Free Gifts button and choose to “Open in
New Window. Do this a few times and you should have a handful of windows open with the gift
menu on them. Your computer’s power will ultimately decide how effectively you can do this
with multiple windows. Start with 5, and then try 10 if the computer does 5 okay. Another
good tip is to do this in the morning or late at night when traffic to Facebook is lower.
Now, choose your gifts in each window and choose the friends you want to send them to. You can
choose different people in each browser to send your gifts to. Now, go to the confirmation
window for sending all those gifts, and click the ‘confirm’ and ‘send’ buttons really quickly, one
after the other in each window. The goal here is to get these all in before the game can register
that you’ve sent your gifts for the day. You can send yourself gifts this way with a second
account, or get your friends and family to help you out with their gifting.

Tips Number 2 - Starting Hot in Farmville
One of the biggest problems many players have with Farmville is just getting started. It takes
time and money and a whole lot of focus to get going, but if you have a nice trick to give you a
head start, things can be a bit easier on the whole.
First off, ask yourself how often you login to the game, and how much you plan on logging into
the game. There is a significant difference between these two things, so it can affect how you
ultimately plan on playing. This will affect which crops you grow and how you ultimately play
the game.
When you start the game, you will have 6 square plots ready for you - two with eggplants and
strawberries and two half grown. You’ll also start with 200 coins which will bump up to 323
after you harvest those first crops.

This trick will ultimately be helpful for anyone that needs help getting more XP without having
any land leftover, even if you have plenty of coins, and for those that are close to levelling up at
a high level, but don’t have enough plots to work with. You’ll need coins for this trick no matter
how you look at it though - you’re basically swapping coins for XP so you’ll need the cash to pay
for it.
Start with 10 plots that are ready to be used - either plowed or fallow. Figure out much money
you need to plant what you want to harvest. Save whatever coins you’ll need to plant those
plants in the future. Now, plow your land and buy soybeans to plant. You’ll need 150 coins to
plow the land and another 150 coins to plant those soybeans. After you plant them, delete the
plots with your delete tool and you’ll be able to start over again. You just got 30 points for
planting and plowing, and can start over again after you delete the land. This will allow you to get
nearly unlimited XP for the cost of 10 coins per XP.
If you have enough coins setup in your account, this will be an extremely effective way to level up
quickly and get as many XP as possible while not actually doing anything on your farm. Then, when
you want to turn the computer off for the day and plant something of actual value, go back to
the crop you choose to plant and get it going. You’ll then be able to harvest that the next day
for more coins and enough to continue your XP trick.
If you only login once every day, you’ll be using Soy Beans anyways as they are the best 24 hour
crop you have at your disposal. Whatever you do, make sure you start the game with 10-11
plots of land and enough crops planted to make optimal coins. In this case, that means plowing 10
spaces of soybeans.

Tips Number 3 - High Speed Levelling Tricks
There are other ways to level up quickly as well. First off, stop wasting that cash you have
sitting around by not using it for something. Coins that are not being used to level up are coins
being wasted. Here are three quick tips to getting optimal XP for all those coins you have set
aside:
1. Figure out how much money you’ll need to plant what you want to plant later on. Make
sure you always have this amount of coins on you, so that if your crops wither you have
something to work with. It’s not impossible to have something later on, but you want a
full harvest worth of coins on standby. Never waste it.
2. To determine how much this is, use the following formula:
(Price of Crop + 15 Plow Fee) x Total Area of Farm.
If you have a 14x14 farm, your total area is 196, so your formula might look like this:
(Price of Crop +15) x 196 = Total Coins to Save.
If your crop is Tomatoes, that total would be 22,540. Other crops will cost different
amounts to save for.
3. Spend every remaining coin you have on Hay Bales. They cost only 100 coins each and
will award you with 5 Experience points. You can resell them each for 5 coins. If you are
currently growing something on your land, this is a great way to get quick XP (though
the 10:1 ratio of soybean planting and destroying is still better).

If you had 200,000 extra coins laying around, you could make an easy 10,000 XP in a few
moments - that’s a full level up at any level in the game, and if you’re a low level player, that
will get you to one or two higher levels in no time.
As a conclusion, the rule is pretty simple - if you have extra coins lying around, use them. Don’t let
them sit there and waste space, unless you’re over level 38 already and are in no hurry to level
up at all.

Tip Number 4 - Best Farmville Crops
There are a few select crops in Farmville that will stand out as the best in the game. If you pick
up Farmville Secret, you can get data on every crop in the game. However, to help you
determine which are the top crops in the game and how to get them, here is a quick rundown
of some math.
To get these crops, we combined the seed and selling cost with the growth time to determine
how many coins you will make per hour in a 24 hour day. Basically, if you login and harvest each
crop as soon as it’s ready, how many coins did you make for every hour it was planted? The
best crops are then highlighted with the optimum cash rate you can get out of them.
Unfortunately for most players, these crops are all due at the top levels in the game. You
cannot access them until you are at least Level 19. However, again, remember that Farmville
Secrets provides this data for every crop in the game, allowing you to choose the best crops
from level 1 on.

There are a few things to keep in mind with this data too. First off, look at the XP per crop. Sure,
Tomatoes are a tremendous crop to grow at level 20, but they also only provide 1 XP per
planting. On the other hand, look at those grapes. You can grow them in 1 hour, and you’ll gain
2 XP per planting. The same is true for Peas. Basically, Farmville rewards you for being online
more often.
In addition, keep in mind that you will need to pay for plowing, so the total amount of profit
may drop for faster growing items due to how much plowing you do. Additionally, keep in mind
that a Farmville day is only 23 hours long, so the actual hour counts are always off by just a little bit.
You’ll want to match the crop that you choose to the time you get online and how often you
can plow new space for new plots.
If you are looking for pure XP, remember that you can get a lot more for the lower time items like
Raspberries which can be harvested for 144 XP every 2 hours on a 12x12 land area. That’s huge
gains if you do it right over a long period of time.

What About the Trees?
Not everyone plants only seeds. Some people have quite a few trees to choose from as their
top level items in the game. Here is a rundown of the different trees you can get in Farmville,
their cost, and how easily you can turn them around for a profit. Trees are generally not a
hugely profitable item due to their harvesting times, but they do not wither, so don’t forget
how valuable they can be.

As you can see, the trees are all very profitable if you get the right ones. They will not cost
anything to replant or plow either. So, just be sure to harvest them when available. For
example, if you bought 20 Acai Trees, you could make 79 coins per day from each one - a total of
1580 coins a day for all those trees if you plant them properly.

Tip Number 5 - Free Coins for Farmville
This is a tough one, because for most people the coolest part of the game is getting animals and
caring for them. But, you have to be realistic. Trees and crops will get you the most coins and if
you have hundreds of animals taking up that space, you’ll never be able to get the coins you
could out of the land. So, I recommend you sell everything you get each day for a gift. Your
friends will understand because gifts are generally not considered a personal thing - it’s just a task
you perform every day.
Now, that doesn’t mean not to keep some animals. I recommend keeping a Chicken Coop, a
Dairy Farm, and a Horse Stable along with any other keeping buildings you eventually get.
These buildings are pure profit and take up little enough space to be useful for anyone that gets
them. But, having 300 chickens scattered across your farm is not cost effective. Get rid of any
trees other than the top 5 I showed you above too. Those trees are profitable on a level with
crops, but the others you can get as gifts are not. You can even tell your friends which trees
you’d like if you want.

If you used the gifting trick I showed you above, you can now take those gifts you’re receiving and
sell them off as they arrive for free, easy coins. You don’t spend any money on them or need
any Farmville Cash and you will end up with huge piles of coins that will last for quite some
time to come.
Farmville is not a tricky game, but if you want to play it as well as possible, you need to level up
fast and use the content provided by the game to get as many coins as possible as fast as
possible. Another reason I’m not a fan of having so many animals around is that managing them
and harvesting them is very time consuming. Crops can be harvested with your harvester 4 at a
time, but it will take forever to go through all the spare animals you have laying around. If you
have 500 animals on your farm, it could literally take a couple of hours to harvest them all.
Crops in that space would have only taken about 5 minutes and then you could get back to your life
and enjoy what time and coins you have gathered.
I have been playing this game for quite some time and, in that time, I’ve developed quite a
good mindset for how to manage the space and get to the top of the game at FarmVille Secrets.
It might seem like a lot of work and a lot of strategy being poured into a simple, farming game,
but if you do it right - and I mean, really drive it out of the park - you’ll be so much better than
pretty much anyone else that plays this game. You’ll reach levels faster, get more coins, and
never, EVER have to spend any real world money to buy the items you’re looking for. That’s the
way the be really good at Farmville and the way you’ll start pushing your way to the top of the
charts once and for all.
