Campus Recovery Update
Work continues daily on the new buildings on Back Bay Mission’s Campus.
The Micah Homeless Day Center (left) with construction completion
expected this summer. We’ll celebrate the official opening of these
new buildings and dedicate them the
weekend of October 4-5.
The bell tower on the new Volunteer Housing
building can be seen beside that of the
Mission’s Administration Building. Volunteers
for the housing recovery/workcamp program
will stay in this building which offers sleeping,
dining and fellowship space.

No words could describe the expression on Nix’s

cameras flashed throughout the throng assembled on
the lawn and a local television anchor gathered footage

was open for touring and people wandered in and

in nine states. A brief dedication service ensued, during
which Nix received a prayer shawl and a quilt, gifts
of some volunteers to the new homeowner. As people
stopped to wish her well in her new digs, Nix recovered

It was time to start a regular publication, aimed
