catalog provides more detailed information than previously available versions.
The ZICO-2011 catalog is divided into six sections. Each section contains related products that begin
with the same part number prefix. In most cases, the part numbers are in ascending order within each
section. The six sections are as follows:

The simplistic design allows for it to work with many

The “Load & Lock” is our most economical SCBA bracket
that meets NFPA 1901-09 standards for SCBA containment.
The simplistic design allows for it to work with many different
brands and styles of SCBA with minimal or no set up change.
For 60 minute bottles, order the appropriate model below
along with separate line item NEF. This will provide a bracket
with a longer footplate to accommodate 60 minute bottles. For
30 or 45 minute bottles, please see page 1-3.

The “Load & Lock” is our most economical SCBA bracket that

latch extension on this model extends the female end out
another 2” to help with wider packs.
The simplistic design allows for it to work with many different
brands and styles of SCBA with minimal or no set up change.

The “Load & Lock” bracket with release assist.
The release assist allows you to change direction of the pull to release
trigger mechanism. The “Load & Lock” bracket is our most economical
SCBA bracket that meets NFPA 1901-09 standards for SCBA containment.
By ordering it with the release assist the 46” long release lanyard may be
pulled either up or down.
Simply place the SCBA against the seats with the SCBA valve sitting on the
footplate and wrap the strap around the bottle and lock it tightly in place.
Releasing the SCBA is done by pulling the lanyard, then leaning forward
and standing up.
The bracket consists of backplate, short footplate, two non-mar double-coated
seats and our “Load & Lock” adjustable strap assembly. The backplate and

The “EZ-OUT ” is an upgraded strapping system

economical.
The “EZ-OUT” SCBA bracket meets NFPA 1901-09
standards for SCBA containment. The solid strap and
adjustment buckles on the far side allow to easily create a
snug fit every time. The solid strap allows for a tighter fit
and smoother release while the adjustment buckles allow
the user to easily reach in and pull the strap tight once it
is locked in place. The firm stalk on the release holds it in
place so it is always in position for the user to pull.
The simplistic design allows for it to work with many
different brands and styles of SCBA with minimal or no
set up change. The standard “EZ-OUT” can handle 30
and 45 minute bottles. For 60 minute bottles see page 1-8

The “EZ-OUT” with the latch extension is for use
with wide SCBA frames.
The “EZ-OUT” SCBA bracket meets NFPA 1901-09
standards for SCBA containment. The latch extension
on this model extends the female end out another 2” to
help with wider packs.
The simplistic design allows for it to work with many
different brands and styles of SCBA with minimal or no
set up change.
Simply place the SCBA against the seats with the SCBA
valve sitting on the footplate and wrap the strap around
the bottle and lock it in place. Lastly, pull the two straps
on the other side to snug up the strap. Releasing the
SCBA is done by pulling the lanyard straight out, then
leaning forward and standing up.
The bracket consists of backplate, short footplate, two
non-mar double-coated seats and our “EZ-OUT” adjust-
able strap assembly. The backplate and footplate are black
thermoplastic coated for years of trouble-free service.

of spring clip brackets uses the standard black thermoplastic
coating and is best suited for steel cylinders. For carbon fiber

are designed for SCBA with clearance issues.
The WALKAWAY spring clip brackets can only be used in
non-crew compartment areas or in the station unless the
apparatus is a 2002 or older per NFPA 1901-03. The low
profile spring clip brackets were designed to work with air
packs that have clearance issues with the standard length clips.
The spring clips are 1” shorter than the standard high cycle
clip and will not interfere with harness assembly or hoses.
The low profile brackets are available in the high cycle coating
and the full high cycle coating.
The SCBA is held in place by the two spring clips. To put it in
place simply place the valve of the SCBA on the footplate and
push it into place. To remove it, just pull the SCBA out. The

The Scott style spring clip brackets are designed to secure
both the 50 and 75 anniversary Air-Pak® from Scott. The
WALKAWAY spring clip brackets can only be used in non-
crew compartment areas or in the station unless the apparatus
is a 2002 or older per NFPA 1901-03. The bracket features
a spring clip on the bottom and a seat and top clip on the top
half. The top set up allows for clearance around the harness
and hoses.

Now firefighters can quickly slip into breathing apparatus from a comfort-
able standing position, even when SCBA is stored in high compartments.
Swing devices are made of high tensile strength aluminum and are virtually
maintenance free. The basic swing is 11-1/2” W x 23” L.
QUIC-SWING units are used most often in shallow high side compartments.
If the compartment is 12-14” deep, you may need to add an extension plate
to allow the device to clear the compartment lip.
QUIC-PAC assembly may be attached to the model QSD for mounting on
exterior of apparatus for protection from the elements.

These rugged wall cabinets safely hold SCBA in WALKAWAY® brackets or model CMB cabinet mounting bracket.
They offer protection from moisture, dust, tampering and contamination. Side mounted hinges allow doors to swing
wide open for fast, easy donning of breathing apparatus. Each cabinet may be mounted on any vertical surface by
fastening the WALKAWAY bracket or cabinet mounting bracket with the cabinet onto the mounting surface.
Steel cabinet for single SCBA unit: Yellow epoxy-coated, heavy gauge steel construction provides years of
trouble-free service. For a positive seal, spring-loaded, stainless steel latches compress the neoprene gasket tightly
when door is closed. Optional lockable latch is also available. Tamper-proof ties permit visual detection of entry,
while a polycarbonate viewport allows external visual inspection of gauge and contents. For added security, the
case may be special-ordered without the viewing window. Full length hinge allows door to swing fully open.

ZICO’s helmet holders, models UHH-1 and UHH-2, have been
tested to 9 g’s and comply with the 2009 edition of NFPA 1901 for
use inside of crew cabs. It holds traditional, contemporary or
wildland style helmets. It has been tested to hold helmets both
vertically and horizontally. To secure the helmet, place the helmet
against the mount and pull the strap over the crown and secure the
strap’s “D” ring onto the mount. Removing the helmet is as simple
as pulling the tab up and sliding strap back down.
The UHH-1 is designed to work with most helmets.
The UHH-2 is designed to work with most helmets with a large
ratcheting strap that protrudes below the helmet.

Backing up and parking fire apparatus, rescue vehicles
and ambulances is safer and easier with QUIC-LIGHT.
The easy to mount light has a corrosion and chip resistant
plastic housing which blends with vehicle contours, and can
be painted to match. The sealed halogen flood bulb provides
50 watts of light while the LED bulb provides 450 lumens.
