National Vegetarian Week 2011 airline meal competition.
To coincide with National Vegetarian Week 2011 the Vegetarian Society is launching a
competition to create an inspiring vegetarian airline meal. This could be a practical
assignment for school students or an interesting project outside of formal education
settings.
Meal designs will be judged on their overall appeal but our panel of experts will be looking
for evidence of planning, creativity and practicality, nutritional value and cost
considerations.
The judges will select their favourite meals from each region of the United Kingdom before
selecting outright winners. The best entrants will then be showcased on our website and, of
course, there will be prizes…

Entry is restricted to young people aged over 12 on July 16th 2011 and based within
