and developing Chinese contemporary works of art on paper.
By organizing top quality exhibitions and giving maximum exposure to international collectors,
the Gallery will promote the leading contemporary artists and the emerging creators.
Hadrien de Montferrand Gallery also serves important Chinese art collectors and art related
commercial institutions to make the link between western experts and Chinese buying power. The
gallery’s networks in the western art world allows us to be a privilege link between the two
continents.
This service already helped Chinese art collector not only to save important amount of money but
also to make sure of their purchase authenticity.
The gallery in this case does not act as an Art Dealer nor as an expert, it only assists her clients to
gather some facts and benchmark their purchases.
This service is billed to the buyer and the gallery engages it responsibility on its services.

Based in China, between Beijing and Shanghai, Hadrien de Montferrand has acquired a unique
experience in the Art Market. Active for more then 7 years both in Auction houses and art
institutions, Hadrien also spent nearly 4 years in China. Collector and passionate, Hadrien de
Montferrand
Laurent Dassault has always been an entrepreneur, even in his charity activities. He is the
administrator of the friends of Pompidou museum’s association in Paris but also heads the
development committee for the leading French auction house ARTCURIAL.
In July 2006, Laurent initiated along with his highness Aga Kahn and several horse
breeders, Arqana which became the leading auction house for horses in continental
europe.
Art collector, Laurent supports Hadrien de Montferrand’s initiative in China.
« When an economical zone develops, creativity always follows up. Chinese artists are
the 21st century’s great creators. Hadrien’s project is original and ambitious”.
