1.1       Alberta Municipal Affairs (STANDATA)
          The STANDATA documents are issued by Alberta Municipal Affairs and Housing on an
          on-going basis and cover a large range of subjects dealing mostly with the Alberta
          Building Code and the Canadian Electrical Code. The ones listed below are known to be
          relevant to EPC Automation work. They are subject to change at any time. See

1.5       American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
          This US government agency certifies standards produced by various organizations as
          “National” standards. It no longer produces any standards of its own. The preface
          “ANSI/” in front of a document name indicates that the document has been accepted by
          ANSI. It is not necessary to include this as a part of a document name; i.e. ANSI / ISA
          5.1 and ISA 5.1 refer to the same document.

          A number of standards, especially those from IEEE and some from ASME, have only
          ANSI numbers. These are found in the IEEE and ASME sections below.
