2-Summers Master’s Program. Michael Young and I converted the Ed Tech Master’s program
from on-campus into a blended online program targeted at inservice teachers.
EPSY 317 Interactive Learning Environments – students design, develop, implement, and
evaluate a web-based student-centered learning environment for a real client, in a real-life
setting.
EPSY 356 Instructional Design – students plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate an
instructional product.
EPSY 375 Web-based Learning – students research theory of web-based design and plan,
design, develop, implement, and evaluate a web-based instructional product.
EPSY 311 Technology Practicum – focuses on teaching with technology in grades K-12.
Students design, implement, and evaluate a technology mediated lesson in their classroom.
Research in Instructional Technology –students develop a critical perspective on a topic in the
field, develop argumentation, and write a paper for publication (developed and taught at the
College of William and Mary).
Advanced Technology Integration for Clinical Faculty – clinical faculty in the four Technology
Partnership Schools design, develop, implement, and evaluate a student-centered learning
environment in their classrooms (developed and taught at the College of William and Mary).
The Principalship – administrators plan for, and manage, effective K-12 technology integration
(developed and taught at the College of William and Mary).

integrate emerging technologies into the classroom and begin to build an E-portfolio.
Instructional Technology – preservice and inservice teachers integrate computers and other
