GINGERBREAD pyramid
party
On Friday, December 17, we will make gingerbread pyramids in
class as part of a party to celebrate the end of the first trimester.
This creative activity, which will launch our study of ancient Egypt,
will last from 1:50 to 3:15. Your child should bring the following
items to school on Thursday, December 16 (if buying them is a
financial strain, please let me know and I will see to it that your
child has the supplies he/she needs):
One box plain graham crackers (5th graders only),
One container pre-made frosting (6th graders only),
One bag of candy to share with the class,
One cookie sheet or other solid foundation on which to
build/transport the pyramid.
I will provide a cardboard pyramid base around which to build the
gingerbread creation.
Please let me know if you would like to join us for the activity.
Gingerbread pyramids must be taken home that afternoon.
Let the construction begin!
