2) Arrive Yangon by morning Flight : Airport transfer and Yangon sightseeing
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your EPG Guide and transferred to your hotel.

Today sightseeing starts the huge reclining Buddha image Chaukhtatkyi and Yangon downtown area and from
there we walk along the Pansodan street which has many large colonial buildings which are still in use. It is
also interesting to see the sidewalk markets including those selling old books and magazines dated from the
1960’s up to the present.
After that go to the famous Scott Market (the market closes every Monday and public holiday), a sprawling
complex built in 1926 and noted for its variety of handicrafts and other items which provides an excellent
opportunity for a shopping spree.

Head to the awe-inspiring Shwedagon Pagoda which towers over all of Yangon. It is perhaps the most beautiful
pagoda complex in all of Asia and is one sight that no visitor to Myanmar should miss.

Finish our tour with China Town in the downtown area where we can see interesting and exotic products for
sale at sidewalk markets and also see some small Chinese temples.

3) Yangon full day sightseeing

Our car and driver will meet you at your hotel.

Today sightseeing starts the beautiful Kandawgyi Lake , continue to the huge reclining Buddha image

4) Bago Excursion : Yangon-Bago-Yangon (Car)
 We will take a morning excursion to the ancient capital of Bago (formerly known as Pegu), 80 kilometers northeast
 of Yangon. On the way you may see the Shwenyaung Pin, the shrine of spirit. And then continue to the beautiful
 landscaped Taukkyan War Cemetery, commemorating 27,000 allied soldiers who died in WWII. As we near Bago
 we can also visit the local pottery making cottages. Tour highlights include the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, even taller
 than the Shwedagon pagoda; Shwethalyaung, the most life-like of all reclining Buddha’s, the bustling Bago Market if
 we have enough time in the early morning. On the way back to Yangon we will visit Kyaik Pun Paya with its four
 30 meter high Buddhas.

5) Syriam Excursion : Yangon–Syriam–Yangon (Car)
 Drive across the Yangon River to Thanlyin (formerly Syriam). Thanlyin was the base during the late 1500s and early
 1600s for the Portuguese adventure Philip De Brito. Sightseeing highlights Kyaik Khauk Paya, Thanlyin Market,
 Portuguese Church and Kyauktan Yele Pagoda- a pagoda on a tiny island in the middle of the river. To reach it you
 catch one of the many launch ferries from the river bank. Return to Yangon.
 Arrive Yangon, Transfer to your hotel.

6) Twante Excursion : Yangon–Twante (boat)
Early morning transfer to Yangon jetty to take a colourful local ferryboat (7:00/9:00) to the pottery making village of
Twante. At Twante, sightseeing by horse cart or trishaw to Shwesandaw pagoda, and see the lively pottery making
village. Return to Yangon by car to Dala jetty (45 minutes), and then cross the Yangon river by ferryboat to reach
Yangon.
Arrive Yangon, Transfer to your hotel.

7) Golden Rock Excursion (2 days/ 1 night)
Day 01:          Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyo (Car)
Early morning drive to Kyaikhtiyo in the Mon state, site of the famous ‘Golden Rock’. On the way to Kyaikhtiyo, we
can visit interesting monasteries and pagodas in Bago.
Afternoon arrive the based camp of Kyaikhtiyo and we go by truck to the beginning of the trail from where it is a 45-
minute walk to the top. Golden Rock is a large boulder, which appears delicately balanced, supposedly by the
assistance of a well placed hair of the Buddha, on the edge of a cliff near the top of a mountain. It is one of the most
revered Buddhist shrines. Enjoy Golden Rock sightseeing which includes spectacular mountain views and pilgrims at
the Golden Rock. Overnight near Golden rock

8)Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo-Mawlamyine-Yangon (4 days/ 3 nights )
Day 01:                  Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyo

 Day 02:              Kyaikhtiyo-Kawtgoon-Kyauk kalat-Mawlamyine
 Enjoy the beautiful morning sunrise at Kyaikhtiyo before descending the mountain to take our ride back to base
 camp. Then drive south to Mawlamyine (about 3 hrs), lunch time break at Tathon and we will take a old road to
 Mawlamyine visiting the Kawtgoon Cave which is a shallow cave where you can see many small intricate Buddha
 images carved in the cave walls. (In rainy season this may not be accessible due to muddy road condition), then
 continue to Kyauk Kalat Pagoda which is situated on a small rock hill formed like a wine glass. Then proceed to
 Mawlamyine for overnight.

 Day 03:               Mawlamyine-Winseintawya-Kyaikmayaw-Mawlamyine
 Today we will go to Mudom to see the Win Sein Taw Ya, the world largest reclining Buddha measuring around 170
 m in length. After that we proceed to Kyaikmaraw, a small charming town where there is a temple built by Queen
 Shin Saw Pu in 1455 in the late Moon regional style.
 Afternoon drive back to Mawlamyine and sightseeing highlights includes Pa Auk Taw Ya Monastery, one of the
 largest meditation centers of Myanmar; Seindon Minbaya Kyaung, 100 year old monastery and enjoy sunset from
 Kyaikthanlan Pagoda.

 Day 04:               Mawlamyine-Yangon
 Today we will drive back from Mawlamyaing to Yangon. (Approximately 7 hours drive) On the way we can make
 photo stops.

9)Yangon-Pyay-Yangon (3 Days/2 Nights)

Day 01:                Yangon-Pyay (Car), Pyay Sightseeing
Drive to Pyay (formerly called Prome), and which is about a 5 hours drive. It is located on the Ayeyarwaddy River.
Pyay was established as a trade center during the Bagan era. Our sightseeing highlights of Pyay include Shwesandaw
Pagoda and visit to Sehtetgyi Pagoda (the gigantic sitting Buddha image).
Overnight in Pyay.

Day 02:                Day trip to Mt. Akauk
Drive across the Ayewarwaddy River to Htonbo village (about 2 hours drive). Then we will take a short boat ride
down the river to bring us to this unique mountain. On its cliff face are carved hundreds of Buddha images. We can
take a short but steep hike up to reach the top of this mountain.
Afternoon return to Pyay
Overnight in Pyay.

 Day 03:                Pyay Sightseeing, Drive back to Yangon
Sightseeing in Pyay includes Baw Baw Gyi Pagoda from the Pyu period. We can also visit a small museum which has
a few relics from the ancient Pyu civilization which existed long before Bagan flourished.
In the afternoon drive back to Yangon. On the way visit the unique Shwemyatman Buddha which is white-faced
sitting Buddha wearing the golden spectacles which were a gift from a colonial officer to help improve his wife’s
eyesight.
