How to Sort on the following data base

STEP 1
(1) Make sure that the auto filter is on. (i.e. that there are down arrows against each column header). (2) If the auto filter is not on, block the entire row that the colomn headers are on, go to data --> filter --> autofilter on.

STEP 2
to sort by "Type of resource" - (1) click on the down arrow next to the column header "type of resource" choose the option of "custom" (you may have to scroll up to find it). (2) on the left side of the window that pops up, click on the down arrow and choose the
option "contains". (3) In the adjacent right hand column, click on the down arrow to view your choices (grants, institute, organization, research resources, fellowships, volunteer, spiritual center, retreat center or jobs) and click on your choice.
