Computer Crash Log
Aug. 9, 11:40-11:48 p.m. Quicktime locked up. Had to restart computer to get it to work
to preview videos.
Aug. 11, 8:57-9:05 a.m. Quicktime and Adobe Reader both crashed. Had to reboot
computer. Reboot failed. Had to manually shut down computer and restart.
Aug. 11, 2:05-2:10 p.m. Microsoft Office Picture Manager would not open. Other
programs did not want to open after that. Restarted computer. Had to manually shut off
with the power button as it would not restart.
Aug. 12, 10:12-10:24 p.m. Video prep tool wouldn’t open. Then Word wouldn’t open.
Then I couldn’t shut down or restart properly so had to manually shut down. Then the
computer ran a CHKDSK.
Aug. 18, 8:30 p.m. Andrew's computer was in blue screen CHK hard drive mode when I
turned it on.
Aug. 24, 8:30 p.m. Andrew’s computer started up, but did not boot desktop. Had to
manually restart computer as it would not reboot normally.
10:30 p.m. IB’s edit tool goes down. Copy super slow in coming back.
Aug. 25, 12:15-12:20 a.m. VideoPrepTool crashed. Some programs wouldn’t reopen
after I force quit them. Had to reboot computer.
Aug. 29, 10:50-10:55 p.m. VideoPrepTool crashed. Had to restart computer.
Aug. 30, 10:39-10:44 p.m. Firefox locked up. Had to reboot computer.
Sept. 8 Computer crashed twice. Cost 15 minutes of productivity.
Sept. 16 10:40, my browser locked up. Had to restart the computer twice to get the
browser to work again. Andrew's computer crashed when I came in. Not logging out
properly.
Sept. 22 12:00, Crash Log: Computer crashed at midnight. First Quicktime locked up,
then video prep crashed. 5 minutes to reboot.
Sept. 26, 11:05 p.m., programs locked up and comp had to be manually restarted.
Sept. 28, 9:10 p.m. Computer programs locked up at 9:10 p.m. Had to manually restart.
Sept. 29, 10:05 p.m. Programs locked up, had to restart computer (worked through
Windows restart option). 12:10 a.m. Browser locked up again. Restarted computer and it
still wouldn't open. Had to manually shut down wait a minute and restart again. Wasted
about 15 minutes. Seems to happen most often when selecting a photo from the hard
drive to load as an image.
9/30/11 12:25 a.m. Computer programs locked up right before the typing of this note.
Very annoying.
10-4 12:10 a.m. Same crash. Tried selecting a Teaser Image and it locked up the browser.
Had to restart computer.
