(Mandatory Meeting in CDC Main Lounge to cover details, to see models, answer questions, etc. Students need to be sure they have completed and turned in the student model application at the Career Development Center’s Front Desk on the 1st Floor of the University Pavilion – 556-3471 or via email at CDC@uc.edu)

In Store Fittings – Dates & Times TBA
(Students will be assigned to a specific store, will need transportation, and will need to select only one day to go for your fitting. You cannot participate in the show if you can not go for a fitting on one of the days selected for fittings. You will need to have business dress shoes for your fittings and for the actual Fashion Show.

Rehearsal Meeting 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. CDC Lobby
(This rehearsal is to become familiar and more confident with aspects of runway presentation. Image, eye contact, walking, pausing, and arm positioning will be discussed by an Image Consultant.)
Tuesday, October 21st, 2003
Mandatory Meeting Runway Rehearsal – 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
(This is a mandatory rehearsal where models will be able to see the set-up, the dressing rooms, walk down the runway and actually go through each scene and see when you will model, with whom and what you will need to do. Please be punctual so that we can complete this rehearsal as soon as possible. If for any reason you are unable to attend this mandatory rehearsal, you must contact CDC in advance at 556-3471 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Failure to attend this meeting will result in your being replaced for the show. Please note: Fashions are provided by local stores, which are selected by DFS Coordinators.
Wednesday, October 22nd, 2003 Showtime! STUDENT MODELS MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 11:00 A.M.
(The clothes will be delivered for the fashion show on the day of the event by 10:00 a.m. Please plan to arrive before 11:00 a.m. Remember to bring your shoes with you and a scarf to cover your head as you take clothes on and off. Immediately upon arrival, check in with CDC’s coordinator and proceed to the fitting rooms. You will be directed when to start getting dressed. CDC staff will be there in the fitting rooms to assist you in getting in and out of the merchandise, so it will not be damaged. Each model’s clothing will be identified and hung together. Store representatives or CDC staff will be there to receive the clothes as soon as our models have modeled them, to avoid any damage to clothing and to secure inventory. This event will be carefully synchronized, so that the event runs smoothly.

I have read all of the information pertaining to this event provided in this packet and agree to attend required fittings and dress rehearsals in advance and be present on locations on the day of the Dress for Success Fashion Show, at least One Hour in ADVANCE of show time and remain for the duration of the show.
