Temple Israel’s David         Announcing Temple Israel’s David Bigman Memorial Scholarship. Sponsored by the Temple Israel of
Bigman Memorial               DeLand Sisterhood, this $250 scholarship may be used toward college tuition, fees, and books.
Scholarship                   Graduating seniors who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and who have one or more parent or grandparent
                              who is Jewish are eligible to apply. Applicants must respond to the topic, “It takes a village to raise a              April 2   2012
                              child. How has my Jewish community impacted my education, and what can I bring to my Jewish
                              community for future students?” The length of the essay is flexible, but it should be well thought out,
                              grammatically correct, and double spaced typed. The winner will share their essay with the temple on
