      1        PIPELINE LAYING / INSTALLATION (CARBON STEEL PIPES)
               "Receiving and taking over" as defined in the specifications, handling, loading,transportation and
               unloading of Owner supplied 3-Layer PE coated line pipes along with associated fittings and valves from
               Owner's designated stock-yard at Vijaywada to Contractor's stockyard/ workshop/ worksite including
               preliminary activities, preparation of drawings, wherever required for crossing etc. including, Handling,
               stacking, stringing on the pipeline Right-of-Use/ pipeline route alignment, carrying out inspection of
               company supplied materials including line pipes at the time of taking over, laying/ installation of coated
               line pipes, associated fittings and accessories, including execution of all works, “taking over”, handling,
               including loading and unloading, transportation of Owner supplied materials including line pipe from
               Owner’s designated place(s) of issue to work site, arrangement of all additional lands required for
               Contractor’s storage, fabrication, access for construction, procurement and supply of all materials
               (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, equipment, labour and other inputs, carrying out
               all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works, ready for commissioning of pipeline as per
               drawings, specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instruction of
               Engineer-in- Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following:-
               Detail Survey of 12" diameter pipeline, Surveying of the detours if required at the time of construction
               including marking the same in topographical sheet, preparation of AFC drawings showing survey
               details, and submit same to Owner for review.

                Installation of construction markers, clearing, fencing, grubbing, cutting of trees,
               fulfilling all the requirements of various statutory/environment authorities to the entire satisfaction of
               concerned authorities, grading of work area. Shifting of all obstruction within the ROU/Pipeline route
               alignment viz. electrical lines/poles, telephone line/poles, foreign pipeline, coordination with concerned
               authorities and obtaining permissions from these authorities.


               Trenching to all depths by excavation in all types of soils including soft/hard rock,
               chiseling or otherwise cutting different types of pavement, footpath, roads etc. as required and storing
               excavated soil, reusable materials at designated area as per direction by Engineer-in-Charge and to a
               width to accommodate the pipeline and HDPE conduit for OFC as per the relevant standard/specification
               etc. The minimum depth of the top of pipeline shall be 1.2 m measured from top of pipeline coating to the
               top of undisturbed surface of the soil. Dewater of trenches if required as per site condition.
               Carrying out repairs of pipe defects/replacement in case of irreparable defects and
               repairs to defects of pipe coating not attributable to Owner including defects/ damages occurring during
               transportation/handling.

               Checking, cleaning, aligning, bending, cutting and beveling (as required) of pipes for
               welding and field adjustments including pipe fittings, welding, carrying out non-destructive testing of
               welds as required including 100% radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labour,
               supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and
               interpret radiographs and other tests as required, carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by
               Engineer-in-Charge, carrying out re-radiography and other tests as required on repaired joints.
               Carrying out installation of carrier pipe at all crossings like roads/nallas at designated depths by open
               cut/jacking/boring after pre hydrotest of the section as defined in specification (except at cased crossing
               or crossings carried out by HDD method).

               Carrying out installation of carrier pipe, in the casing pipe at cased crossing after pre hydrotest of the
               section as defined in specification (excluding installation of casing pipes which is covered separately).

               Coating of field weld joints, long radius elbows, buried fittings and valves etc. including supply of coating
               materials etc.
               Counting the number and type of trees cut in presence of DFO/concerned authorities and keeping record
               thereof, stacking and handing over of all cut tress.
               Installation/lowering the pipeline in trench to required depth, supply and placement of PE warning mat,
               Anti-Rodent type, (width-300mm, thickness-1mm)over the pipeline along the complete route, padding
               around pipeline with suitable approved soil including supply of padding material, PE warning mat,
               backfilling with available/borrowed earth, approved excavated material and/or other suitable soil by
               crowning.

               Laying of 40 mm OD, 6Kg/cm2 permanently lubricated HDPE conduits, in same pipeline trench direct
               buried or through CS/ HDPE conduit, excavation as required, padding, backfilling etc. including
               cleaning and sealing of ducts at the end of laid drum lengths, preparation of cable blowing pit, jointing of
               HDPE conduit including supply of all material, coupler for jointing of HDPE Duct, RCC Pit for HDPE,
               HDPE conduit testing after laying, joint location marking all complete as per specifications provided in
               the bid document and as per direction of consultant.

               Repair of Holiday in Coating – Supply of all coating repair materials as per requirements of
               specification to be compatible with line pipe coating material, supply of all consumables, utilities,
               equipments and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating
               defects (resulting in holiday) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes,
               performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with relevant
               specification and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

               Crossing the all-foreign pipeline with necessary concrete / PVC protection including co-ordination with
               all agencies and obtaining NOC.
               Including Crossing of pipeline with the trench less method wherever required with the approval /
               permission of authority. (No separate payment shall be made for trench less method)

               Supply and installation of slope breakers, bank protection wherever required and as directed by Engineer-
               in-Charge.
               Carrying out air cleaning, gauging, pigging, flushing, cleaning and hydrostatic testing of complete
               pipeline with required quantity of corrosion inhibitor including pre-testing of designated sections
               complete as per specification and approved by Engineer-in-Charge to specified pressures indicated
               elsewhere and duration after stabilization as per specification, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings,
               instruments, dead weight tester, pressure recorder, thermocouples, etc., and services, supervision,
               labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air etc., as required, location of leaks
               and rectification of defect attributable to Contractor (rectification of defects in linepipe material not
               attributable to Contractor shall be paid separately as per other item of schedule of rate), re-testing after
               rectification, dewatering after successful completion of hydro testing of entire section and as approved by
               Engineer-in-Charge complete.



               De-watering, swabbing, drying of the entire pipeline as per specification.
               All tying-in, including the tie-ins with adjacent section of the pipeline including welding, Golden Tie –In
               NDT and other test, joint coating.
               Protective coating of 500 micron thick two component (applied with the help of minimum three coats)
               liquid epoxy including supply of materials duly approved by Owner for all piping valves, fittings, structural
               steels etc. for buried installation and inside the valve pit as approved by the Engineer in charge.

               Final clean-up and restoration of right-of-use and disposal of debris and surplus material to designated
               disposal areas and reinstalling the area to its earlier state as per satisfaction of concerned authority and
               as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
               Restoration after completion of crossing as per direction of Statutory authority / Owner / PMC and
               obtaining NOC.
               Preparation of as-built drawings pipe-books (1 set of tracing on polyester film and 6 sets of as-built
               drawings and 2 soft copy and 6 hard copies of pipe book). All the works shall be executed in accordance
               with the provision of contract including carrying out all temporary/ ancillary/ auxiliary works required for
               the performance of the works and all other acts, deeds, matters and things necessary to make the
               pipeline ready for pre commissioning activities.

               Preparation of all detail job Procedure as per Specification, Drawings, Scope of Works and guideline
               provided in the tender document. All job procedures shall be approved by WGI.

               Note: -
               This item shall be applicable for the underground steel grid main pipeline including distribution
               pipelines, fittings, valves & accessories etc. from existing/ proposed underground / aboveground tap-off
               points (i.e. including arrangement for making provision for tap-off except hot tapping and their hook-up)
               on existing aboveground installation at proposed CNG/ DRS Station.

               All crossings installed by HDD/ Boring/Moling method without any casing pipe shall be paid separately
               as per the rates quoted for the same elsewhere in the SOR
               The Repair of All types of Coating defects (attributable / not attributable to owner) in the pipes supplied
               by Owner are included in above item and No separate payment shall be made to the contractor for the
               same.
      2        CROSSING (CASED)



               Installation of casing pipe by Jacking/ Boring/ Open cut for rail, road and canal
               crossings wherever required in all types of soils and terrain, including all associated works as per
               permission from Authority including supply of all other contractor supplied materials viz. casing
               insulators and casing end seals as per standard drawing, materials for casing vents and drain with
               proper plugging to fill the petroleum jelly / wax, bentonite etc. including supply of all other materials,
               equipment, consumables, manpower, welding including visual inspection of all weld joints, installation of
               casing insulators end seals, vent and drain-off pipes with threaded plugs, Installation of 2 Nos. 50 mm
               dia HDPE pipes in the casing pipe, backfilling and restoration as original of the facility crossed and
               performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and
               provisions of contract document.
               Filling of the Casing pipe with Petroleum jelly / Wax Bentonite as per direction of
               Engineer in charge

               Note: -
               Payment shall be made on the actual length of casing pipe. However, payment for carrier pipe inside
               casing shall be paid separately as per item no. 1.0 of mainline laying.
               Lengths of casing shown above are tentative. Actual length may vary considerably as per site condition.

               Payments for the lengths of final tied-in carrier pipeline string with mainline laid by Moling are inclusive
               in this above item rate. No any separate payment shall be made under other clauses mentioned
               elsewhere.
               The rate for supply of steel casing pipe is given separately in SOR
               The Installation of 6” casing pipes shall be done for separate boring for HDPE duct if required with the
               approval of Owner / PMC otherwise the 2- Nos HDPE duct to be installed in the casing pipe of carrier
               pipe.
       3       SUPPLY OF STEEL CASING PIPE

      4        CONTINUOUS CONCRETE COATING (FOR CS PIPES)
               Supply of all consumables, materials and application of 50 mm thick for 12" pipe continuous concrete
               weight coating of 2500 kg/m3 and field joints thereof in all areas of work wherever required as per site
               condition and performing all works as per specification on the line pipe for following sizes: -

               Complete work of installation of carrier pipe along with installation of 2 nos. HDPE duct at crossings
               (between the limits as defined in approved drawings) by HDD method for road, nala, drain and canal
               wherever required in all types of soils and terrains including "Receiving and taking over" Owner
               supplied three layer PE coated line pipes from Owner's designated place to issue/ dump site(s) and
               transportation to Contractor's stock yard/ work shop/ work site including all handling, loading, unloading,
               aligning etc. supply of all Contractor supplied material including manpower, equipment, other resources
               and acquiring the required land for storage, fabrication including string preparation of pipes, welding,
               welding repair, radiography, coating of field joints with special type of Heat Shrink Sleeve and repair of
               pipeline coating with special repair patch materials as per Specification, pre-testing etc. of complete
               string made for crossing access for Contractor etc. and execution of, but not limited to, following works
               in accordance with specifications and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge and as per all provision of
               Contract Document.



               Pre-Construction survey based on site visit, collection of data (if required) from concerned Authority
               including design and detail engineering and making of crossing drawings for getting their approval
               from concerned Authority/ Engineer-in-Charge, getting work permit/ NOC for crossings as well as
               utility crossings (if any) encountered during crossings prior to start of the execution of work.

               Installation of HDPE conduit ( for OFC). HDD Method rail, road and canal crosssings or wherever in all
               types of soils and terrain, including all assciated works including supplly of all other contractor supplied
               materials including supply of all other nmaterial and, equipment, consumables, manpower, conduit
               joining (if required) including visual inspections of all joints, backfilling and restoration as original of the
               facility crssed and performing all instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and provions of contract document.

               Drilling to required depth including maintenance of drill hole in all types of strata, all depth to
               accommodate the pipeline and HDPE duct at all conditions encountered during crossing by approved
               HDD methods procedure for providing minimum cover specified in code/ specification or as decided by
               concerned authority, whichever is more.

               Backfilling of the ditch/ trench including restoration and cleanup of area and all other works including
               cleaning, gauging and final hydro testing etc. along with mainline works (as mentioned in clause no. 1.0
               above) required as per specification, approved drawings, calculations, methods and to the satisfaction of
               Engineer-in-Charge and/ or as directed by concerned Authority.

               The length of HDD mentioned is tentative and may vary to the considerable extent depending upon
               requirements as per site conditions. The length mentioned in SOR is indicative for all the crossing to be
               done by HDD, numbers and locations shall be decided by Engineer-in-Charge depending upon site
               condition.
               Payment for the length of final tied-in carrier pipeline string with mainline laid by HDD are inclusive in
               this above item rate. No separate payment shall be made under other clauses mentioned elsewhere.

      6        INSTALLATION OF HDPE CONDUIT BY HDD METHOD AT CROSSING
               HDD Method for rail, road and canal crossings wherever required in all types of soils and terrain,
               including all associated works including supply of all other contractor supplied materials including
               supply of all other materials, equipment, consumables, manpower, conduit jointing (if required)
               including visual inspection of all joints, backfilling and restoration as original of the facility crossed and
               performing all instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and provisions of contract document.

               Installattion of 40mm " HDPE conduit for OFC cable requiring separate boring by HDD method.

               workshop as applicable for fabrication and/or work site for field fabrication and erection for all piping
               items supplied by Owner.
               Including Supply, Fabrication, Erection / installation of Transition pieces wherever required to match the
               different grade of materials.
               Complete work of fabrication, erection, painting, testing and making ready for further commissioning /
               start-up the carbon steel piping system along with pipes, fittings, flanges valves etc. of all sizes and
               ratings/ thickness including calibration and installation of pressure gauges (wherever required)
               including supply of all consumables, equipment, manpower and other resources and execution of but not
               limited to the following works in accordance with relevant specifications, drawings, scope of work and
               instruction of Company/ Engineer-in-Charge and as per all provisions of the contract document.

               Fabrication including cutting, edge preparation, inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings,
               flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required, fit-up,
               bending, preheating wherever required, welding threading etc. pipe fittings like elbows, tees, reducers,
               weldolets, sockolets, etc. flanges, vent and drain point connection etc. including providing stub-in
               connections, fabricated fittings and reinforcement pads etc. as required.

               Erection of pipes of all types and thickness over sleepers, overhead on racks and at all elevation,
               connecting with equipment nozzle, aligning, installation and carrying out connected activities for all
               types of valves, all online instruments and fittings of size elbow, reducers, tees, flanges, blind flange,
               spectacle blind flanges, branch connection/ tapping, vents and drains, required for process and hydro
               testing, tapping for pressure gauges thermo wells sample connections etc. including fixing of types of
               gaskets (including spiral wound with graphite filler gaskets for RTJ flanges) bolts and nuts
               (A193Gr.B7/A194Gr.2H) for all sizes.

               Performance of radiographic inspection by gamma radiation as per scope of work and as per
               specifications in piping of all types and thickness including providing/hiring of all necessary equipments,
               supply of all consumables, and whatever else even though not expressly mentioned but required to
               perform the work as per specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge (full circle re-
               radiography of the repaired joint and additional radiography necessitated due to poor performance of
               Contractor's welder shall be carried out by the Contractor at his own cost and shall not be paid extra by
               COMPANY). Radiographs shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge for acceptance, whose
               decision shall be final:

               Preparation of drawings, Supplying and erection of pipe supports including Civil Foundation of M-20
               grade Concrete with 1:4:8 PCC at required locations as per instruction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

               De- coating of Pipes (3LPE) of any dia supplied by the Owner for station piping as per requirements.

               Painting of entire system (including all pipes and accessories) as per specification, including supply of
               approved Epoxy paints and primers, preparation of surface and application of Epoxy primer one coat and
               two coat HB epoxy finish paints, identification etc. as specified including rub down and touch up with
               primer and paint wherever required by COMPANY and providing scaffolding for all heights etc.

               Cleaning and flushing by water/ compressed air, testing of the system including hydrostatic, pneumatic
               and any other type testing as specified, draining, and drying by compressed air / other methods approved
               by OWNER / PMC.
               Completion of all such work in all respects as per scope of work and as per drawings, specifications and
               instructions of the OWNER /PMC and keeping the system ready in all respects for further
               commissioning and start-up.
               Hooking up with other system piping at battery limit.
               Preparation of isometric, fabrication drawings, bill of materials as per specifications, drawings and
               instructions of the Engineer- Charge.
               Preparation of as-built drawings pipe-books (1 set of tracing on polyester film and 6 sets of as-built
               drawings and 2 soft copy and 6 hard copies).

               Transition pieces wherever required Bolts, nuts, washer, U-clamps, gaskets etc. required for piping

               Assorted pipes of all ratings/ thickness types, pipes fittings, flanges, valves blinds etc. as required shall
               be supplied by Contractor as per technical specification enclosed with tender and payment shall be made
               as per SOR. 6” and above 3-LPE coated pipes shall be free issue by Owner. Flanges fittings/LR bends
               shall be supplied by the Contractor and payment shall be made separately as per SOR.

               De- coating of pipes supplied by owner if required shall be done by contractor and No separate payment
               shall be made to the contractor.
               For payment purpose, measurement shall be done in running meter from centre to centre along the pipe
               including length pipes, fittings, flanges and valves.
               For pipe supports and other structural items No separate payment shall be made to the contractor all
               Civil Foundations with preparation of design and drawings, Structural Steel pipe supports are included
               in the above station piping Items of different dia of piping.

               Laying cable sealing, cable jointing, jointing pit, padding, backfilling etc. using all materials required,
