Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing
services has employed Cedric as a Solution Architect specialised in SharePoint technologies.
Cedric works for the Aerospace and Defense business Unit and is a strong member of the
SharePoint Competence Centre. His two main clients are the French National Centre for Spatial
Studies (CNES) to build a collaboration platform with SharePoint 2010 and Airbus to help them
build user friendly applications quickly with SharePoint 2010.

May 2009 to July 2010 – Hitachi Consulting / Edenbrook – SharePoint Technical Architect /
Consultant (Contract)
Hitachi Consulting is the global business and IT consulting company of Hitachi Ltd. They are
recognised as a leader in delivering practical business strategies and technology solutions.
Cedric worked on many different projects:

        Cedric was in charge of delivering a SharePoint 2007 Proof of Concept (PoC) at
         Microsoft UK headquarters Technology Centre. For three weeks Cedric worked at
         Microsoft with Microsoft SharePoint experts (Mark Harrison, Steve Green) to load-test
         SharePoint 2007 to its limits. The load test simulated 1,000 users through a three page
         journey. Cedric configured the load tests, deployed and configured the environment,
         managed a team of three and analysed/presented the results. SharePoint 2007 managed
         to deliver 520 pages per second using its own Internet caching capabilities. Cedric then
         wrote a comprehensive document analysis the PoC findings which proved to be a
         success for the customer, a large airport authority in the UK.

       Cedric organised workshops to gather requirements for an Internet application allowing
        the user to raise complaints online using a customised application using SharePoint form
        capabilities. Cedric was the technical lead on the project and designed the application.
        Most of the application development was outsourced to India.

Technology used: WSS 3.0 (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0), Form Based Authentication
(FBA), SharePoint Designer

       Cedric designed and developed a solution with Microsoft InfoPath 2007 forms allowing
        taking an Oracle Timesheet application offline for a big transport company.
       Pre-sales: demo capabilities of MOSS to large health insurance International company
       Cedric helped a global bank (BNP) in London to design and build a prototype for an
        internal system allowing reports approval by traders with a custom SharePoint application
        involving SQL Server Business Intelligence Reports and custom workflows.
       Cedric was the SharePoint Solution Architect on a big project for GS1 a leading global
        organisation dedicated to the design and implementation of global standards and
        solutions. He designed their SharePoint environment for their Intranet, Extranet and
        Internet sites. He run workshops to gather business requirements and designed the
        logical and physical architecture for the implementation on a VMware ESX vSphere
        Virtual platform. Cedric helped the client to calculate the licenses costs, estimate the
        workload and plan their storage requirements and configure their SAN. Cedric lead a
        team of 5 offshore developers in India and 4 onshore developers in London to deliver
        the sites. Cedric also helped the team by developing some features of the Intranet and
        Internet sites and configured permissions/security. Cedric has done some load and stress
        testing in order to tune SharePoint performance. The Internet/Extranet site was using
        BizTalk 2009 ESB to communicate between SharePoint and the client’s CRM and

October 2008 to April 2009 – Getronics – SharePoint Technical Architect / Consultant
(Contract via ICS DreamTeam – Cedric was vetted by ICS as a SharePoint expert)
With worldwide revenue of €2.5 billion and about 20,000 employees, KPN subsidiary Getronics
is a leading ICT service-provider in the world and the largest ICT service-provider in the Benelux.
Cedric was the SharePoint Technical Design Authority for two projects and was actively
working to help the support teams. He also deployed, configured and troubleshot SharePoint
farms and acted as third line support. Cedric also delivered the Symantec NetBackup stream.

   Technical Architect responsible for designing a SharePoint 2007 Intranet and Document
    Management deployment with two farms (Production and Disaster Recovery) for a client in
    the finance industry – documentation written included Functional Specification, Logical
    Architecture, Physical Architecture, Capacity Planning, Detailed Level Design, Installation &
    Configuration, DR plan. On this project Cedric implemented the SharePoint Intranet and
    Collaboration portal (Document Management System) from A to Z as he designed, installed,
    deployed, configured, branded and developed the solution for the client before successfully
    handing it over to the support team. The system was design so users could only store
    documents into SharePoint (as their main document management system).

Dec 2007 to September 2008 – Tube Lines – SharePoint Technical Design Authority (TDA
/Technical Architect)
Tube Lines is responsible for both maintenance and upgrade work on the Jubilee, Northern and
Piccadilly lines of the London Underground.
Cedric was part of a large Technology Refresh programme to deliver the required infrastructure
to support the business to 2011. All the latest Microsoft Technology was being deployed
(Exchange 2007, MOSS 2007, SCOM 2007, OCS 2007, SSCM, Terminal Services 2008, Vista,
and SQL Server 2005) and Cedric was leading the SharePoint stream.

       Technical Architect (TDA) responsible for the implementation of SharePoint Server 2007
        (MOSS 2007) for both their Intranet and Document Management system. MOSS Logical

March 2006 to August 2006 – Home Office – Information Management Consultant and
SharePoint developer
Capgemini were selected as preferred supplier for the delivery of an EDRMS (Electronic
Document and Records Management System) solution and the associated business change
across the Home Office. The project delivered two main areas of functionality. The first area was
known as the EDRM core functionality i.e. document and records management in a designed
Corporate File Plan based in Meridio; the second area was deployment of collaborative solutions

based on Microsoft SharePoint. These value-add collaborative solutions solved specific
business problems for this government body business units and teams. Cedric's role was to
identify, design, create and implement value-added team working solutions into specified
areas of the government body. Cedric was part of a team and effectively supported the
development of the Team Working Solutions strategies for the relevant business units. In addition
Cedric ran several meetings and workshops on his own thanks to his facilitation and client
relationship development skills. Cedric developed high quality solutions and was also
instrumental in the coordination and delivery of the full Programme and Project Solution suite of
modules which was a great achievement. Solutions have then been implemented with highly
effective user training and support culminating in successful launches. Cedric has been
responsible for training and inducting new members of the team (especially the new contractor
workforce to who were transitioning). Cedric played a full part in developing the standards and
approaches to which the team were adhering and in capturing and sharing specific knowledge of
techniques and approaches that benefited everyone.

Cedric helped design, develop and create a Portal product integrating SharePoint Portal Server
2003, Live Communication Server, Microsoft Axapta, Outlook Web Access, and Quest Vintela
(allowing Line Of Business LOB Unix applications to run on a SharePoint front-end).
ICE was later sold and implemented to different Capgemini clients. Cedric also helped organise
all the parties involved in building the solution, both internally and externally (i.e. Quest).

                                – Senior Solution Developer

Thetrainline.com are the largest rail ticket retailer in the UK, serviced through a combination of
online and Call Centre sales. Cedric was one of the developers on the development programme
which delivered millions of pounds of revenue per annum. Cedric was responsible for:

1) Web-based development, design and unit testing as defined by the project Release Manager
2) Fault investigation and resolution arising from system testing and UAT testing phases
3) Direct support to a nominated client project manager for investigation and recommendations
for specific areas of functional improvements to the system
4) Writing estimates for the Business Requirement team
5) Helping the Business Analysts to write Use Cases (RUP) to enable designers to understand at
a detailed level existing web application functionality
6) Being the lead developer within the project for the call centre application
Cedric was developing in an ASP, ASP .Net environment using HTML, XML, JavaScript, VB
Script, Visual Basic, VB .Net Web Solutions and Web Services. His role has required him to work
across all the company's managed sites and applications, which between them vary in terms of
architecture and thus the ways in which they use the above languages.

Cedric also regularly contributed to the project knowledge pool, and has also facilitated
knowledge sharing through the construction and maintenance of the project SharePoint Portal.
