Description: Common Data Repository
The DOE/NV began the Environmental Restoration Project (NV ERP)
in the late 1980's to address contamination resulting primarily from
nuclear weapons testing and related support activities. Since 1996,
cleanup activities for sites located in the state of Nevada have been
regulated by the Federal Facility Agreement and Consent Order
(FFACO). Restoration activities at other DOE/NV sites are governed
by various state and federal regulations.
During the process of completing NV ERP activities, many
programmatic documents have been written and information centers
established. The Common Data Repository (CDR) has been developed
that when complete, will catalog all, and contain much of the NV
ERP-related information.
