Levels
Level 3       You are beginning to describe some aspects of life in Nazi Germany. You are
              beginning to explain what different people’s lives were like in Nazi Germany.
Level 4       You can describe people’s lives in Nazi Germany in some detail, using your own
              words. You have chosen and combined information from different sources. Your
              work shows some organisation and you use dates and historical terms like ‘anti-
              Semitism’ and ‘Aryan’.
Level 5       Your work is like Level 4, but you show greater understanding of how different
              people’s lives were affected by Nazi rule. You choose and organise information to
              produce structured work.
Level 6       You have only used relevant information, sticking to the years 1933 to 1939. You
              have linked and explained many aspects of life in Nazi Germany, explaining how
              different people’s lives were affected. You show understanding that German
              people had different experiences during these years and that this question is
              complex. Your answer is written in paragraphs.
Level 7       You show that you are able to develop your own line of enquiry. You look at many
              sources of information and combine information from those that are relevant.
              Your ideas are well organised, detailed and accurate. Your work contains your own
