up late when they’re already sleep deprived so they need to
find ways to stay alert while they work the night away.

FIT (Fit It Together) is a program stimulated and spread by teens
fit it together
to make overall healthy choices for a balanced life. FIT can be read
as FIT by adults, and F-IT by teens, creating an underground language
of their own. The premise is for kids to create an online account
which keeps track of their points. They earn points by texting codes
that come from posters at active events such as basketball
tournaments or school dances. Codes can also be found on receipts
in school cafeterias, grocery stores, and restaurants when healthy
selections are purchased. Kids trade in their points for rewards,
generally sports equipment, gift cards, and supplies. The more points
they collect, the more they earn. The more they earn, the more
tools they have to continue making healthy choices.
