1/27 Discussion with Ann about her new assignment, effective 2/25, to the
Tobacco Transformation project.
1/30 Ann reviewed new protocols with PI and research staff.
2/1 Ann practiced cutting tissue culture under sterile RMOP liquid medium.
2/18 PI reported that Ann followed the new protocol as needed Day 1 through
Day 3.
2/20 Ann independently mixed the YM Media today. Still working on learning
the others.
3/8 Observed Ann mixing RMO+RMOP-TCH media and BAP media without
assistance.
4/24 PI made change to incubation time. Ann applied change to each set of
plants already in process.
6/1 Ann helped re-arrange the greenhouse to accommodate for additional
plants added to project by PI on 5/25.
6/12 Ann taught new Tech how to mix BAP media to be used in a concurrent
project; recommended way to prepare solution at same time for both
projects, saving time and supplies.
7/26 Received email from PI – pleased with Ann’s skills. Requests her
assignment to next project.
