Can One-Stroke Painting™ Save Lives?
Donna Dewberry’s Fans Say So.
Judging from the unsolicited letters and emails Donna Dewberry receives, her One
Stroke Painting™ method is a lifeline for fans.
Thank her for me. I’m unable to get out because of my back and her show was a
gift from God, it saved me. I always worked and having so much free time on my
hands left me depressed and feeling quite low. I’ve been painting everyday and I’m
not bad at it, I’ve painted my kitchen with fruit, my bathroom with green plants and
stepping stone, a topiary tree at the front entrance, and bedroom furniture. She’s
saved me and I really appreciate it. —M.W.
Okay, we’re not suggesting that One Stroke Painting with Donna Dewberry is a
miracle cure-all, but time and time again, fans write in to share their feelings for the
simple yet stunning painting method that helps everyone create custom art and home
décor projects. All it takes is a little practice.
Dear Donna,
I can’t believe it! I just finished my first painting. WOW! I’m impressed and so is my
husband. Thank you so much. Your kit for PBS was worth it. I’m finally doing
something I had only dreamed of. —S.B.
But it’s not just Donna’s time-tested technique for turning everyday objects into objets
d’art. It’s Donna’s down-to-earth charm that resonates with fans. With Donna, what you
see is what you get. First she developed her One Stroke technique, then she became
known across North America and throughout the world for her nearly effortless method,
finally she ventured into television. Her no nonsense style and easy-to-understand
instruction is a refreshing alternative to traditional teaching techniques.
I love the show and Donna’s gentle, friendly personality. Thank you for sponsoring
such a quality program. —M.H.
As a young mother of seven it’s hard to believe that Donna even had time to lift a
brush—much less a finger. Yet Donna realized that she wanted nicer things for her
family. Discretionary spending was low but motivation was high and Donna plunged into
homemade decorating. Her efforts impressed family, friends and neighbors and soon
people were commissioning custom-painted crafts projects. From those humble
beginnings, a hobby borne of love turned into a professional passion built on sharing
self-taught skills with friends and strangers alike.
You are so talented and inspiring! Thank you for that! —T.C.

We are a home-schooling family. This makes a great art class. My kids and I found
you a few weeks ago. We tried your techniques, and I can’t believe it. I can actually
paint! It is exciting to say the least. —D.B.
She loves to share her painting techniques with others. She believes that to expand
your horizons, you have to share. She has taught classes at children’s schools, camps
and now, through her weekly series and seasonal specials on public television, Donna
is proud to share her One Stroke Painting with you. Painters of all abilities are
