Waking the Dead leads readers to understand how to live from the heart,
care for their hearts like the treasures of the kingdom, and give from
fullness instead of emptiness. This message also shows how living from
the heart can energize people to love God and others in a way theyve
never experienced, revealing to them lifes purpose: fighting for the hearts
of others.
This book has affected my life deeply. I learned how important my heart is
in my Christian life and why the enemy will go to any length to keep my
heart damaged. Many of us have experienced events or situations that
has caused our heart to be damaged and thus keeping us from living out
our full potential, having an intimate relationship with God, and having
deep, meaningful relationships. John Eldredge is a fantastic writer that is
full of Gods wisdom and knows from experience what it truly means to live
a life with a heart that is fully alive. He uses many quotes and familiar
stories and movies to illustrate his points as well as plenty of scriptures.
John gives sound, biblical approach to getting your heart back and living
out of the heart God intends us to have.
It is a great study to do alone or in a Bible Study Group. I suggest you
