									    Affiliation With CACCI Womens’ Council Will Enlarge FLO’s
           Outreach Programmes in Asia Pacific: FLO Chief

NEW DELHI, April 4, 2007. The President of FICCI Ladies Organisation
(FLO), Ms. Mukta Nandini Jain, who now heads the CACCI Womens’
Council (CWC), sees a much wider reach for FLO in the Asia Pacific region.

Addressing a meeting on ‘Growth, Development an Equal opportunities’
organized by FLO with Dr. Najma Heptuallah, MP, here today, Ms. Jain said
FLO would be able to draw upon the resources of the CWC to substantially
increase its international outreach programmes.

FICCI is the nodal body of the activities in India of CACCI (Confederation of
Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry) which has a membership of
24 countries, including CACCI are Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia,
Georgia, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia,
Mongolia, New Zealand, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri
Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Five
members from each country would represent the respective countries to be a
part of the newly formed CWC.
