Rules of Entry
1. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $5 per artist.
2. Eligible All-star Amateur Artists are considered to be amateur and non-professional artists – from

high school seniors (12 grade) and older. Bahamian artists, residents of The Bahamas or
naturalized Bahamians are eligible to enter. This event is NOT for professional or established
artists or artists that have had previous exhibitions with NAGB.
3. Submit photographs of each work of art to be considered to email: nagbaaa.bs.@gmail.com.
Please provide your name, title of work, date of completion, size, medium and full contact
information including all telephone numbers, mailing address, and current active email addresses.
4. Each artist may submit up to two (2) works of art, unless otherwise indicated.
5. All art media are accepted, unless otherwise indicated.
6. Submissions must be completed works of art. Unfinished works will not be considered.
7. Any work of art that is in the process of being sold or has already been sold are not eligible for
submission. Works of art accepted for exhibition may be showcased as for sale. All sales
transactions are to be between artist and buyer directly. Works will not be released from the
exhibition until the show is closed.
8. Application must include an artist’s statement, limit of 500 words. NAGB will provide the final copy
for display during the event.
9. All works of art must be original and created after January 1, 2011.
10. Emailed submissions received after the deadline of 5pm on Friday, January 6, 2012 will not be
considered.
11. Submission of works of art by the artist and acceptance by the Curatorial Team is an agreement
to show the submitted works.
12. All decisions of the Curatorial Team are final.
13. No substitutions of selected works of art will be accepted.

14. Artists will be notified by e-mail of acceptance or rejection between January 10 – 12 2012.
15. Accepted artists are required to label each work of art with their name, title of work, date of
completion, size, medium and full contact information including all telephone numbers, mailing
address, and current active email addresses.
16. Selected works of art must be brought to the NAGB to the attention of Ms. Luann Morris
during the week of January 13-17, 2012. ALL WORK must be professionally presented and
“gallery ready.” (i.e., all framing, mounting hardware and wire must be included and
attached).
17. The NAGB does not provide insurance. Artists will be required to sign an insurance waiver.
