Day 1, Sunday Arrival Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg International Airport, after completing customs and Immigration
formalities you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel.
Overnight: GC Sandton Sun Hotel or Similar
Day 2, Monday Johannesburg/Mpumalanga
After breakfast depart Johannesburg after breakfast for Mpumalanga Province. Enjoy
beautiful scenery along the way including Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window, you
will arrive at your lodge in the later afternoon. (Lunch is for your own account).

Day 3, Tuesday Mpumalanga – Kruger National Park
Early morning game drive in Kruger National Park with packed breakfast. Search for the
‘Big Five’ namely Rhino, Elephant, Lion, Leopard & Buffalo and a variety of other
animals. Enjoy prolific birdlife and numerous other game. Afternoon at leisure at your
hotel. Late afternoon or night open-vehicle game drives available (optional and for own
account). Overnight: Pestana Kruger Lodge or Similar [B]
Day 4, Wednesday Mpumalanga
Early morning coffee or tea. Depart on open vehicle game drive through Kruger National
Park with pre-packed breakfast. Return to hotel for afternoon. Late afternoon or night
open-vehicle game drives available (optional and for own account).

Day 5, Thursday Mpumalanga/Swaziland
Enjoy an early breakfast and then travel to the Kingdom of Swaziland which is another
country within South Africa and visit a glass factory and renowned Swazi candle factory.
Check in at hotel. Late afternoon at leisure, or visit a nearby craft market.

Day 6, Friday Swaziland/Zululand
After breakfast, re-enter South Africa and travel to the Province of Kwazulu- Natal with
its rich African Culture. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Travel to Hluhluwe Umfolozi
region for overnight. Overnight: Ithala Rest Camp or Similar [B]
Day 7, Saturday Zululand/Durban
After breakfast travel to a traditional Zulu village for lunch and show displaying local
culture. Travel to Durban and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight: Southern Sun North Beach or Similar [BL]
Day 8, Sunday Durban
Day at leisure in Durban (unescorted). Opportunity for optional Day Excursion (own
account). Overnight: Southern Sun North Beach or Similar [B]
Day 9, Monday Durban/ Port Elizabeth
Transfer for Port Elizabeth flight. (Flight not included) On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight in Port Elizabeth.

Day 10, Tuesday Port Elizabeth/ Knysna
Depart for the Lagoon Town of Knysna through the Tsitsikamma Mountains and
indigenous forests. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and the afternoon
at leisure at your hotel. Overnight: Knysna Quays Hotel or Similar [B]
Day 11, Wednesday Knysna
Today you will enjoy a leisurely Breakfast before taking a Lagoon cruise to
Featherbed Nature Reserve. Enjoy a trailer ride to top of Western Head, and walk
back through Milkwood trees for lunch (included). Return to your hotel and the rest
of the day is at leisure. Overnight: Knysna Quays Hotel. Or similar [BL]
Day 12, Thursday Knysna/Oudtshoorn
Today you will travel over Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn. Enjoy a guided visit to an Ostrich
Farm and tour the vast limestone Cango Caves. Continue to your hotel.

Day 13, Friday Oudtshoorn/Cape Town
After Breakfast, travel on the Route 62 via the ‘Klein Karoo’ and Montagu to Cape Town,
arrive late afternoon and your driver will drop you off at your hotel and the rest of the day is
at leisure. Overnight: Southern Sun Waterfront or similar [B]
Day 14, Saturday Cape Town
This morning you are met at your hotel for a tour to Table Mountain and Cape Town City.
Ascend the mountain by revolving cable car. Your visit to Table Mountain will give you spectacular views
of the city and Cape Peninsula. After this visit you are taken on a drive through the city centre to the
Castle of Good Hope. The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest surviving building in South Africa. Built
between 1666 and 1679, this pentagonal fortification replaced a small fort of timber and clay built by
Commander Jan van Riebeeck in 1652 upon establishing a maritime replenishment station at the Cape of
Good Hope for the Dutch East Indian Company.
Return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure. Overnight: Southern Sun Waterfront or similar [B]
Day15, Sunday Cape Town
After breakfast depart from your hotel and travel via Green Point and Sea Point to Maidens Cove and
then on to Hout Bay where there is a short stop. Optional (and for own account) half-hour boat trip
from Hout Bay to Duiker Island, to view the seals and sea birds (weather permitting). Passengers
wishing to take the optional boat trip to Duiker Island will be dropped off to board their boat. The rest of
the passengers have time at leisure in Hout Bay to perhaps visit the variety of shops or stop for
refreshments. Visit Cape Point where, by tradition, the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
Our return journey is via Simonstown, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg and on to the world famous
Kirstenbosch Gardens – one of the world’s greatest botanical gardens with over 5000 plant species in the
gardens and hot houses. Continue to the hotel where your tour ends. Overnight: Southern Sun
Waterfront or similar [B]
Day 16, Monday Cape Town- Depart
Private transfer to airport, harbor or railway station for onward journey. [B]
