Your assignment:
Think about a mammal you are interested in learning about.
You are going to become a researcher!
Over the next 3 weeks each student is going to research a
selected mammal and report interesting and exciting facts
about that mammal to the class.
Among these facts you should be sure to include where
the mammal lives, its diet, its size, and some physical and
personality characteristics.
This will be an oral report and should include pictures,
video clips or any prop that will display mammal to the
class.
Good Luck and be creative! Remember
the steps in researching….

Gather your information.
Select the information you are going to use. Remember the
facts you are required to include.
Organize your data and thoughts- you may want to use a
graphic organizer or do some pre-writing.
Write your paper in essay form. Remember there is an
introduction, body and conclusion.
Create your oral report- you may want to use index cards.
Create or find a prop to present to the class as well.
