Napa Valley. Each wine is a low tech labor of love: crushed into one-ton T-bins, punched down by hand, gently transferred to barrel, and
bottled unfined and unfiltered. One only has to look at Les and Lisa‘s hands during harvest to know their wines are truly ―hand-crafted.‖

A powerful and rich wine, not typical of chardonnay, with aromas of honey and meadows, with very earthy tones, minerality, good acidity,

Rockledge Vineyard Cabernet , 2007
Varietal/Vineyard: 100% Cabernet / Rockledge Vineyard, Napa Valley
Quik Facts: Sourced from the extremely rocky Rockledge Vineyard, planted by Jim Barbour in the early 1990s, this vineyard is a veritable
phenolics machine, and it always yields what is unmistakably a hillside wine! A blast of clove, cinnamon, dark cherry, chocolate and anise
greet the nose, emanating from a wine with a rich, red hue tinged with purple. This wine is lush and concentrated on the palate, with copious
amounts of fine tannins providing structure and age-ability to the dark, rich Cabernet flavors, while enhancing the finish, which is long and
graceful. Aged in 100% new French Oak for 23 months. 195 cases made .

taken Ritual to another level. The floral and spicy aromatics are intense, lively, yet deep. The palate is hugely ripe and sweet with fruit, and
our minimal use of new oak allows the floral, spicy, layered flavors and texture to shine. We dare say this is the best vintage of Ritual by a
long shot! 460 cases.
Sage, 2008
Varietal/Vineyard: 44% Chardonnay, 22% Viognier, 22% Roussanne, 12% Marsanne/Alder Springs, Napa Valley
Quik Facts: Our first vintage of The Sage has turned out beautifully. Some may find a blend of Chardonnay and Rhone varietals a bit radical,
but we think they are perfectly at home together, especially at vineyards like Alder Springs. What is great about this wine is that it combines
the richness of Chardonnay, the complexity of Roussanne and Marsanne, with the apricot, flowers and lime of Viognier. 110 cases

preserve the freshness of fruit, no oak barrels, no malolactic fermentation
Semillon, 2009
Varietal/Vineyard: 100% Semillon
Quik Facts: It‘s that time of year to start shifting taste buds around. Just as red wine is better suited for colder weather yet has a place any
dang time of the year, so is white wine better suited for warmer weather, but drinkable 365 days of the year rain or shine. When the name
Bob Foley gets added to the mix, the grape varietal doesn‘t seem to matter anymore and the sheer knowledge that the quality is going to be
very high and the wine very yummy takes precedent. This is Bob‘s first vintage of making an awesome, gorgeous, and quaffable Semillon.

Shelter
Shelter is an exciting and different project. When winemakers put their blends together, they are often faced with tough decisions. For
example, say there are 10 barrels each, of Cabernet from 4 different vineyard blocks. They are all great and they have different
personalities. However, when blended, one of the block‘s characteristics overwhelms the others too much, so it would be better to put only 8
of those barrels into the blend. What do you do with those extra 2 barrels of awesome Cabernet? This is where SHELTER comes in. Shelter
is comprised of only the finest wines from some of the most famous vineyards, made by some of the most famous winemakers in Napa.
Because of the sensitivity of the reputation and exclusivity of these vineyards, the source and winemaker will not be revealed. The wines,
however, speak for themselves! Enjoy SHELTER!!

Varietal/Vineyard: 50% McClaren Vale Shiraz, 23% Barossa Shiraz, 27% Durif/ McClaren Vale
Winemaker: Justin Lane

of spice with red and black fruits – but is not typical of most Shiraz,, it is more refined and delicate.
‘Blood of Jupiter’,, 2006
Varietal/Vineyard: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet,/ McClaren Vale
Quik Facts: The nose showed the typical Sangiovese earthy and peaty characters with distinct sour cherries. These carry over onto the
palate that has layers of fine tannins, oak char and fruit sweetness. Ripe yet briary with a fleshy mouthfeel, lots of tingly acidity and a long
lush finish.

Varietal/Vineyard: 80% Nebbiola, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Tannat, / McClaren Vale
Quik Facts: The citrus characters continue on the nose - this time it is reminiscent of mandarin peel. On the palate there is a fruit
sweetness (though it is a dry wine) with lots of sour cherries. There is a layering effect of tannins (grape tannins and oak tannins) probably
assisted by the use of Tannat, fruit and citrus flavours, high volatile acid and high acids generally. All of these components make this an
enjoyable and complex wine.
‘Tarot’ Grenache, 2008

harmonize with the primary fruit. The note of candied flowers carries through the long, sappy finish

The Supernatural, 2009
Varietal/Vineyard: 100% Sauvignon Blanc, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
Winemaker: Gabrielle Simmers

hotter Bay areas. ‗She breaks interesting new ground for Hawke's Bay's cool climate wines with this lovely white… and Simmers has only just
begun. She boldly goes where few have before – using a crown seal to eliminate cork taint possibilities. Elegant and graceful, delivering
nuanced flavours of honeycomb, pear and apricot, with aromatic honeysuckle and spice details. This plush white shows restraint, yet offers
refreshing acidity and a long finish.
