If you are doing something that costs money, make sure you let your buddy know in advance how much money to bring. There are also many ideas on this list that don’t cost anything. Always discuss your plans and interests with your buddy so that everyone understands. Remember that for many of them, English is not their first language, so be patient and explain things carefully.
