EnableMart Makes $13,000 In-Kind Donation To The Utah Special Olympics
EnableMart lives up to its name by enabling the Utah community. EnableMart proudly
announced their continued support for the Special Needs community today by donating
more than $13,000 of assistive technology items to the Special Olympics of Utah.
EnableMart has been an industry leader in assistive technologies for more than 10
years and has made many notable donations over the years. Earlier this year, the Kids
Wish Network officially presented EnableMart with the title of “Guardian Angel” for
helping to fulfill the wishes of a child with a life threatening illness.
Today, the EnableMart team stands by their mission to change the lives of individuals
with disabilities and are showing they are more committed than ever to eliminating
barriers and paving the way to independent living. The products donated by EnableMart
will be distributed to the following organizations for use in teaching life skills and
providing job skills training:

TURN Community Services, Bountiful, Utah, provides support for people with
disabilities Work Activity Center, Inc., West Valley City, Utah, helps people with
disabilities become more active and independent members of the community
•
Hartvigsen, Granite School District, Salt Lake City, Utah, teaching students from
first grade to 22 years old, using computers, augmentative devices, and other
technology to enable students to control and interact with their environment
•
Unitah High School, Special Education, Vernal, Utah, helping students prepare
themselves for success in a changing world
•
Con Amore School, Myton, Utah, serves grades PK-12 special needs students in
the Duchesne School District

progressive technologies designed to accommodate and meet the needs of every
individual.
