Ranne is a medium sized main contractor operating
throughout the UK and Europe.

Our approach is led by our desire to construct
buildings that combine high quality workmanship
with modern and exciting design. This is achieved
through our well trained and highly experienced
workforce, a dedicated team who enjoy the challenge
of constructing award-winning buildings as well as
more traditional projects.

Sustainability is a key priority at Ranne. We have
considerable experience of a variety of new
technologies and modern methods of fitout.

We offer the services of our in-house Bream and
CDM assessor to clients before and throughout the
construction programme to help achieve the levels
stipulated by the latest code.

We will only work with suppliers and contractors that
meet our very stringent work ethic and have all the
correct boxes ticked for insurance, sustainability,
ISO's and FFC's where needed.

CASE STUDY: Johnson Matthey
Johnson Matthey, a speciality British FTSE 100, chemicals company had been based in Hatton
Garden since 1817. Their departments were spread over 1000 sq.ft. floor plates on 5 levels of a
single building. Our client needed to bring all their teams together into a single open plan footplate.

A modern contemporary glass and steel building was found and agreed upon. Our commission was
to provide a full turnkey solution, marrying their future aspirations and fitout with a keen eye on
their traditions and heritage. The approach we termed 'transitional', a design that encompassed
modern products and working practices but with traditional colours and finishes.

The scope of works included a fully operational catering kitchen, shower area, flexible boardroom,
client / staff dining areas, a more corporate reception space, high density filing, hot desks and
space for over 70 open plan workstations.

The £1.2m project was completed over a 8 week project program.
CASE STUDY: Aviva Investors
Aviva Investors is a global Asset management business dedicated to building and
providing clients with focussed investment solutions. Aviva Investors is owned wholly by
Aviva plc, the world's sixth-largest insurance group.

Our brief, to refurbish the main reception area on level 3 of No 1 Poultry. Aviva Investors
(London), iconic HQ in the heart of the City of London. Ranne were commissioned with the
design and build contract and tasked with providing a high specification build. The scope
of works included a bespoke reception desk, new feature MF ceiling with revised lighting
scheme, with extensive mechanical and electrical modifications.

The area was virtually returned to base build and then built up stage by stage over a 3
week project within the clients £250k budget.
CASE STUDY: Kirby Street
28 - 30 Kirby Street was a tired 1960's building, competing with rejuvenated, redeveloped
neighbouring properties. Our client, the building owner, tasked the Ranne team with developing
a design for the reception and common parts, that would reflect the local competition.

Our challenge, to provide great design within a cost conscious budget.

The scope of works included textured wall panelling, new floor finishes, redecoration, re-colour /
polish all joinery items, signage, new lighting and a refresh of five common part toilets.

The project was completed at a budget of £12k.
CASE STUDY: Majesty House
Majesty House is a gaming industry software publisher. It has recently taken up residence
in its new state-of-the-art facility, built to the groups specifications and requirements.

The facility is located on a 1 acre site with 20,000 sq.ft. of office and warehouse facilities.
CASE STUDY: BWIN are one of the world’s largest online gaming and development companies. Party gaming
and bwin recently merged in early 2011 to form, and wanted their working environment to
reflect their new branding.

Ranne were appointed to design and build the new reception area at their prestigious London office.

We designed a contemporary scheme, in keeping with the bwin branding ideas. We wanted to create
a minimalist feel with bright accent colours in the form of the ‘pebble stools’, focusing attention on
the main feature of the design- the large bespoke circular reception counter. The floor finishes and
lighting scheme further enhanced the minimalist aesthetic.

The project was completed mainly during crepuscular hours, over a 2 week program.
CASE STUDY: Thremhall Park
Mantle is a Regional Commercial property developer & investor, operating in greater
London, the south east and eastern England. Mantle required a breakout & facilities area
for their flagship serviced offices in Hertfordshire. Ranne were tasked to create a modern
and functional space to showcase to potential new tenants.

The brief was to create an area within their Thremhall Park building for team meetings,
informal meetings and as a breakout. We therefore had to make sure that we specified the
right furniture solution that had a combination of low soft seating as well as dining height
seating and tables to create a multifunctional space.
