Equipment:
Plastic knife
Snickers
2 toothpicks (break 1 in half)
1 large marshmallow
2 small marshmallows
Paper towel

Designate one end of your snickers as anterior (ripply chocolate) and one as posterior (flat
side). Use the toothpick to place the large marshmallow on the superior end and the two
small marshmallows on the other end as inferior.

   1. Observe your candy bar. Is the chocolate superficial or deep? ______________
   2. Name a structure on your body that is superficial. _________________
   3. Is the flat/smooth part of the bar anterior or posterior? ______________ If this animal
      walked on its legs, what other term could be used to describe this region? __________
   4. Is the ripply side of the bar anterior or posterior? ______________ If this animal

   5. Is the toothpick holding the head lateral or medial? ____________
   6. Look at your Snickers man laying on its back. Now turn your snickers bar on its
