					How To Install FTP on Windows 2000 Server - File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard
network protocol used to transfer files from one host to another host over a TCP-based network,
such as the Internet. FTP is built on a client-server architecture and utilizes separate control and
data connections between the client and server.[1] FTP users may authenticate themselves using
a clear-text sign-in protocol but can connect anonymously if the server is configured to allow it.

How To Install FTP on Windows 2000 Server:
1. Click the start button >>program>>>administrative tools>>>Internet Service manager
2. To Create new FTP right click on the computer name and then chose the new FTP site




3. and then show dialog FTP creation wizard then Clik Next




4. Form Description. type the name of FTP
5. then you will see form filling Ip address for the FTP server site. type in its ip address with the
default TCP port 21 and then select the next




6. then will appear the FTP site home directory form that asks demonstrate File Site Home
directorynya as the root of the FTP. To find a location press the browse button
7. Then will come form Permissions FTP access which in this form granting access to the user,
there are two options, namely read and write, we should select them and select the next




8. Finally clik Finish. FTP site have been installed on your computer
