Help Protect Sandhill Cranes in Kentucky
I recently received an e-mail asking for help in the protection of Sandhill
Cranes that migrate through Kentucky. I have been following this issue on the
TV news and in the newspapers and consider it a viable Kentucky issue.
Recently, it was reported that the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Re- 24 Hour Tow Service

magnificent birds to the federal authorities. I am totally against this! (859) 235 - 0004
These large birds have not been hunted in Kentucky for over 100 years and Automotive Specialists
were considered an endangered species because they were hunted to near extinc-
tion levels in the 1800’s. They are increasing in numbers and have graced our
wetlands with their beautiful presence. They are what I consider a natural won-
der. If you have been so fortunate to see the cranes or any cranes in a natural set-
ting, you understand what I am saying. They are a great reason why Kentucky is
considered to be such a naturally beautiful state.
I ask you to write, e-mail or call and voice your concerns
