 Job             The mission of Altria Group, Inc. is to own and develop

                 Altria Client Services’ role is to provide high quality services to
                 the Altria family of companies. We are currently seeking a
                 highly qualified undergraduate summer intern to join our
                 Finance departments in Richmond, VA.

                 Our 10-12 week undergraduate summer intern program
                 provides students the opportunity to participate in on-the-job
                 training, access to mentors, planned social events, and
                 educational opportunities. Students will also be given the
                 opportunity to work on a project as part of their internintern
                 experience. Depending on the current business need, this
                 mayproject may be given the opportunity to work as a part of
                 a cross functional. project team and are All students are
                 expected to use project management skills to execute multiple
                 project tasks simultaneously. Students will document the
                 summer’s project work in a formal report and/or presentation
                 to the senior management team at the conclusion of each
                 term.

                 As a Finance/Accounting undergraduate summer intern with
                 Altria Client Services, the student will be assigned to a specific
                 area within our Finance department for purposes of learning,
                 assessment and ultimate contribution.
           Finance areas include:
           • Controller Functions – iIncludes accounting, financial
           reporting & disbursements
           • Decision Support & Budgeting – pProvides financial analysis
           to drive business decisions
           • Treasury – Provides inIncludes cash and risk management
           strategies
           • Corporate Tax – pProvides tax strategies and services
           • Investor Relations – cCommunicates with the investment
           community
           • Corporate Audit – aAssesses and reports on the control
           environment

           Projects may include:
           • Performing basic functional business case analysis and
           identifying potential solutions.
           • Identifyingy business changes and executing related
           accounting process changes as necessary.
           • Compiling, analyzing and recording financial information.
           • Collecting Consolidating data from multiple
           sources/computer systems.
           • Analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and creating solutions.
           • Preparing variance analyses on monthly expenditures.
           • Performing monthly closing procedures.
           • Assessing financial controls.
Specific   To qualify for the undergraduate summer undergraduate
Skills     intern program, the student must be in good academic
           standing at his/her university and enrolled as a rising senior in
           a relevant undergraduate degree program at the time of the
           Internship. Specifically, we are looking for college students
           working towards a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at
           least 15 hours of major coursework completed. Work
           experience related to academic discipline is preferred. A
           minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is strongly preferred.

           We are looking for students who possess strong strategic,
           analytical and creative thinking skills, written and verbal
           communication skills, as well as demonstrate leadership and
           initiative. The incumbents must be highly proficient in the use
           of Microsoft Office Products and possess strong oral and
           written communication skills.

           Candidates must pass a drug-screen and background check
           prior to employment. Pay for an intern position is
           commensurate based on the student’s academic level in school
           and experience. A Housing Allowance is available for students
           who qualify.
