- Teacher, Vice-Principal and Principal of the Senior High Schools.
- University teaching experience of a variety of courses, including Education Science, Basic Sociology,
Sociology of Migration, Strategic Management, Business Strategy, and Rural Development.
- Background in research of Education, Sociology and Rural Development.
- Secretary of Organizing Committee for creation of the Association of Scientists of Lithuania,
including the publishing of a newspaper “Scientific Lithuania”, and served as the executive secretary of
the magazine “Sciences, Arts and Lithuania”.
- Experience in creating of law acts at the period of restoration of independence of Lithuania.
- Adviser to Parliament (Seimas) of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Editor of a weekly American-Lithuanian newspaper “DIRVA”, one of the oldest newspapers in Ohio,
USA, in 1996-2001, with subscribers in 14 countries. Experience of journalism: over 400 articles in
Lithuanian and foreign media: “Dirva” (The Soil), “Draugas” (The Friend), “Amerikos lietuvis” (The
American Lithuanian), “Tėviškės žiburiai” (The Lights of Homeland), “Lietuvos aidas” (Echo of
Lithuania), etc.
- Took part in the 9th, 10th and 12th World Lithuanian Symposiums on Arts and Sciences. Education

        Speaker in variety of meetings of American Lithuanians: Cleveland (OH), Chicago, IL, Lemont

Putnam (CT), Los Angeles (CA), etc.
- Experience teaching Russian and Lithuanian languages in the United States of America.
- Author of 8 books and over 150 scientific articles and reports.
- Experience in translation from Russian and English, editing and review of scientific literature.
- Senior Specialist of the Labor Economy and Training Methodology Service to Ministry of
Agriculture of Lithuania.
