LPA Promising Practice Tidbits
What a Great Idea! Each year the Snohomish County LPA hosts a brunch for
community partners and LPA members. In December of 2010, almost a
hundred dedicated staff came together for a celebration and planning session.
Three former TANF participants keynoted the event. They spoke about how they
had worked with various LPA partners to help move them off TANF and into
good jobs. It was very inspiring (and a good reminder that what we do really
does make a difference)! Brunch attendees then spent time discussing current
issues, obstacles, what assets the group still has, and how it can build upon
