This workbook contains a tool to ESTIMATE your maximum loan eligibility.

Simply fill in the red boxes on the tab named "2008-2009 Est Loan Eligibility."

The worksheet will then automatically calculate your ESTIMATED maximum

eligibility.



When completed, send the worksheet via email to mpeterso@tiu.edu.

There are two ways to do this:



1. Manual Method



1. Save the completed worksheet to your hard drive.

2. Send the file you have just saved as an email attachment to mpeterso@tiu.edu.

3. Please use the subject line "Loan Eligibility Worksheet for [Your Name]"



2. Automatic Method



1. This method requires macros to be enabled in your Excel settings.

How To Enable Macros

2. When the worksheet is complete, simply click the "Send Email" button.

To use the automatic email function of this workbook, macros must be enabled

in your Excel settings. Macros can be used by malicious programmers to

propagate computer viruses, and as a security measure they are disabled by

default. Never enable macros in a file from a source you don't know to be safe.



To enable macros, follow the steps below.



In Excel versions prior to 2007:



1. Go to Tools / Macro / Security.

2. Change the setting from High to Medium .

3. Close this workbook and reopen it.

4. Excel now asks you whether to enable macros. Select "Enable."



In Excel 2007:



1. Click the Office button in the upper left corner.

2. Click the Excel Options button at the bottom of the menu.

3. Select Trust Center on the left.

4. Click the Trust Center Settings button at the bottom right.

5. In the window that comes up, select Macro Settings on the left.

6. Select "Disable all macros with notification," then click OK.

7. Close this workbook and reopen it.

8. On the Security Warning strip underneath the Office ribbon, select Options.

9. On the dialog box, select "Enable this content," then click OK.
