As a Technical or Support person at any Xstrata Coal location – the following are core business

 Provide technical, administrative and/ or other support to enable the business to function at optimum

efficiency/ effectiveness.

contribution to the overall effort;

 Consider safety, environmental and cost impacts when planning and undertaking work;

 Service equipment and maintain a safe workplace by actively following the Safety



Systems and ensuring adherence to all Safe Coal, HSEC policies and procedures



 Carry out all duties without putting yourself or others at risk.



 Participate and contribute at Safety and Pre –Shift Meetings



 Report all incidents and hazards as required by Legislation and XCN Requirements

 Work with the Maintenance leadership team to ensure that plant performance and



other targets are achieved across the operation in line with plant kpi’s



 Clearly understand plant targets for the section and be actively involved in identifying



and eliminating inefficiencies.



 Follow maintenance and service plans within the Weekly Maintenance Plan Process as



instructed by Maintenance team leader



 Use your skills as a tradesperson effectively so that budgeted plant performance is



achieved
