   When she got her diary on her thirteenth
    birthday.

   Anne's sister margot also got a diary but it just never got
    published
   A lot of people got killed during the war by being sent
    into a gas shower.
   Even small children were often being seperated by their
    parents
   Jews were often forced to do hard work in concentration
    camps and the too old, too small, or too weak were often
    killed because they couln'd work.
   One of the Dutsh people that helped hide anne and also
    kept her diary safe until her dad's return just recently
    died in January 11 2010 in Hoorn in the Netherlands.
