The President’s Corner
Happy New Year to one and all! Can you believe its already 2010? As many are making
resolutions and new beginnings, we are continuing in the next chapter of Agape Houses’
life. We want to share this with each one of you and to do it we want to invite you to our
Open House Sunday, January 24th from 1pm-5pm. We would love to meet you in person,
give you a tour of our facility and show how we help and assist the women and their fami-
lies that come to us for help. The Board Members will be here to greet you and get to
know you better.
One of the reasons we picked today for our open house was to honor and remember all the
unborn that didn’t get the opportunity to live life outside of the womb. This year is the
37th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. We are not here to condemn but to educate
and love women and men who face an unplanned pregnancy or who have already had an abortion.
We look forward to putting names with faces and enjoying a little time together. Please feel free to stop in after
church, in the middle of the afternoon or just before dark. We would love to see you and look forward to our time
together. Again, thank you for your continued support! We couldn’t do it without you!

Happy New Year! My name is Heather Davis and I’m currently serving as a fundraiser on
the Board of Directors for the Agape House. When I’m not volunteering I work as the
Women’s Area Coordinator for Residence Life at Lindsey Wilson College. My goal is to
ignite in the hearts of our supporters the need to continue giving in many different ways to
this ministry and its clients. I believe in the mission of Agape House and I know God is
using it to bring hope and care to families experiencing planned or unplanned pregnancy. I
hope you will attend our Open House to fully grasp what it is we offer. I know the clients,
volunteers, board members and community partners will appreciate anything you can offer.
Please feel free to give in any way you can (money, items, services, time, etc) and allow it
to bless someone that you may or may not know. Even if what you think you have to give
is small, it can be made into something much larger. Have a great day and God bless you for all you are doing,
have done, and will continue to do to further His kingdom!
