SCIENCE NEWS
Periodically, throughout the year, students will be responsible for finding a
news article from a current publication pertaining to a science topic. The
article must have a science theme and not just be distantly related to
science.
You will be responsible for writing a one-paragraph synopsis of the article. Please include
a reference at the end of your report. You may also be asked to make an oral report to the
class about your article.
The paragraph should pay attention to excellent writing mechanics. It should include a title.
It will be evaluated on content as well as punctuation, spelling and syntax. Please properly
document your resource. Please type your paragraph.
