Thanks/Giving Canned Food Drive Contest Rules
1. Entry. No purchase necessary. To enter, register for the Thanks/Giving Canned Food Drive Contest (the "Contest") at http://www.dosomething.org/causes/hunger. Submit your entry online by December 15th, 2007 (the Deadline). All entries must be received by the Deadline to be eligible to win a prize. Limit: Only 1 entry per school will be accepted. Entries become the property of Do Something, Inc. ("Sponsor"). Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, incomplete, incorrect, or misdirected entries. Use of false contact information will disqualify an entry. By entering, entrants accept and agree to abide by the terms of these Rules. 2. Sponsor. This Contest is sponsored by Do Something!, Inc., 24-32 Union Square East, 4th Floor, New York, New York 10003. 3. Eligibility. This contest is only open to students of primary and secondary schools in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. A school may only be entered once. This contest is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. Any entry will be voided unless the school administration affirmatively consents to the school's participation in the contest. 4. Selection of winners. Sponsor will select one prize winner. Sponsor's selection will be based on the following criteria: Amount of cans raised, percent of school body participating in Contest, amount raised per student. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who uses illegal or unfair tactics in connection with this contest, at Sponsor's sole discretion. 5. Prize. The following prize will be awarded: $500 Grant given to the winning school to be used to fight hunger in their area. Prize may also be donated to a local not-for-profit. 6. Winners list. A winners list will be available at the Do Something About Hunger splash page reasonably promptly after the winner are determined and will be posted for at least approximately two weeks. 7. General conditions. Do Something and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies, and sponsors are not in any way responsible or liable for damages, loss or injury resulting from entrants’ participation in this contest or the acceptance or use of prizes awarded. Winners assume sole liability for injuries, including personal injuries and damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this contest or the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this contest if it cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond Sponsor's control. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error. By entering this contest, each entrant

consents to the posting and use of his or her name and school on the Sponsor’s website and in any and all publicity and advertising for Sponsor without any further attribution, notification or compensation to entrants except where prohibited by law. Sponsor, in its discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the web site, or who otherwise violates these rules. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes with a similar prize of equal or greater value should the prize be generally unavailable at Contest's end. Sponsor may require any winner to return an affidavit of eligibility and release reflecting the terms of these rules.
