you? – Your people?

jungle.jim@shaw.ca

 Motivation begins when you

seek to find better answers! The

closer we come to seeking what

we need to succeed rather than

what we want as a result of that

success the greater the

Make A Difference

 Need vs. Want?

 Until you come to the place where

your wants become what you need

you will always want what you don’t

need!

 And if you always reach for what you

want rather than what you need you

will never have what you need so

you can have what you want!

 “I long to accomplish a great and noble task: but it is my chief duty and job to

accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. The world is

moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes but also by the aggregate

of the tiny pushes of each honest worker”…..HELEN KELLER

 Few can understand the thrill of an Olympic podium, or striving for 4 years to have

the chance to compete for their country. So often I’m asked, “Why should my son

or daughter participate in sport”? The answer- it’s a great way to learn everything

you need to develop leadership skills to excel. You learn winning/losing, teamwork,

work ethic, character development, leadership, and relationships while having fun?

 Every athlete longs to represent his or her country in the Games. With tears in their

eyes and pain in their voice they say they would give anything, everything to be

better tomorrow than they were today and long accomplish those great and noble

tasks. Few parents ever call. They believe their child doesn’t need to work as hard

as they did. Only the gifted will make it. They demand excellence more than they

are willing to encourage! The crying continues!

 Encourage kids to stay in sport for one simple reason. People that made it did so

because of the “tiny pushes made along the road”.

 “Excellent work’s reward - Greater Opportunity!”… Jungle Jim Hunter
