the economic crisis has been good for giving europe.
You might think: ‘that van der velde has gone mad’.

Let me explain what i mean. in the difficult years, which –
fortunately – are behind us because the economic recovery

down. Due to this they took a close look at their purchasing.

a preferred supplier. therefore, we have been fortunate

the german promotional products industry is considered to
be one of the first benefitting from the recovering economy.
promotional product branches in many other european
countries will follow this year, according to several surveys.
in the year 2010 the german product industry reached a
turnover of euro 3,43 billion, a rise in relation to 2009 when
the turnover amounted to euro 2,97 billion, according to 7

in total the austrian products branch quoted a turnover

Due to the economical crisis of the past two years a
number of - particularly locally operating - distributors
have discontinued or reduced their activities. the turnover

stringent (environmental) requirements which raw materials

wages established in china, obligatory health insurances and
dismissal compensations increase the wage costs. therefore,
there are various causes for the price rises. market analysts
agree that most factors are structural.

end customer does not lower his budget, and it looks that
way, then this may lead to more sales and a higher margin.
