‘Skillset’ Pilot - Strategic Aims
2007 - ‘Skillset’ commissioned Dv8 to develop a pilot
diploma delivery model with the following aims;
i) Test principles of C&M diploma
ii) Develop employer engagement and a high level of WRL
opportunities
iii) Develop innovative delivery models using ICT
iv) Test & inform partnership arrangements in Waltham Forest, Islington
& Haringey

One of the key challenges for the pilot was to develop an online
learner portfolio to showcase work, act as an assessment tool and
promote personalised learning
